Who's considered part of the New-Stars? They don't really (or I don't notice) promote Okuyama, Lee, or even Kongu as a New-Star, it seems just Yuuji and Kanno.
Personally I feel the list is:
Yuuji Kanno Okuyama (I consider him new in the sense his first known tourney by us is 20 though he's competed before that; whether that was during Shin-Sasuke we don't know but is likely) Lee (see Kongu) Kongu (disputable to consider him a New Star as he's been in Sasuke prior to 18) Hashimoto (makes a great case now)
Each of these guys proved prior early fails were flukes (Kanno did slip in 24 but I mean from 22-23 in his case) and they are for the most part consistent, Hashimoto does make a case, perhaps maybe one more tourney to see, but I would see this list as the "New-Stars". Now I didn't make this because I'm looking for a replacement of the All-Stars, nor am I trying to make a big deal out of the VS thing TBS has been pulling. I'm just curious about the whole New-Star deal they have.

It's interesting to note that TBS considers Hashimoto to be a "Shin-Shin-Star" (yes, direct quote). I really don't think they have a definition for New Star extending beyond Yuuji and Kanno (though they did state explicitly that Kongu was neither an All-Star, nor a New Star, and I think we can extend that to Lee and Okuyama).

Well the STQ'ers kicked some serious butt this time. Every one that came back had something to prove. Koji with his 3 times in a row in Trials and revenge from the ridiculous hiccup on the Salmon Ladder in 23.. Kawaguchi annihilating the first stage after his hiccup on the HPA exit from 21 Tojima also coming back from his Salmon Ladder defeat in 23
Just in general the STQ'ers really did well.

I think Jun Sato is in there somewhere I dont mean to sound harsh but Sato Jun has failed the Salmon Ladder twice now and both attempts were not well carried out. If he can defeat the Salmon Ladder, I can see Sato going very far. However they might get rid of the Salmon Ladder in 25

An All Star is an all star.
Yuuji is an All Star.

I wouldn't call them new stars because one day they will get old. They should be called the 2nd gen all-stars or the shin-allstars, and the members should be the other 4 that made the final + Kanno.
Is Yuuji considered an allstar now? As in a member of the original group?

We won't find out until TBS airs 25 to see what they are doing to the "groups". As for Yuuji specifically.. he will be of course the 3rd champion in that elite group.
