But from the pictures that I've seen, when it is fully set up (videos ) the ladder looks like its set up to the front side, not right below the rope. I'm thinking that it is a safety measure because whey you drop, you WILL hit the ladder if it is directly below you unless it separates (but I doubt that because if it does separate, when it joins together, some won't be in place.) or pulled back (best situation since there are two supporting poles behind). However, I think it would take more time to set up an ladder that pulls back UNLESS the mat (ground) has the machine so that it can be set up easily.

I'd like to see a poll with 2 choices:
1) Someone will make it to the final stage in Sasuke 22 2) No one will make it to the final stage in Sasuke 22
I am going, unfortunately, with #2 :-(

I'm predicting that Nagano actually loses fairly early on, and TAKEDA is the last man standing, and for the first time makes it to the final stage.
THe dude is at his prime, he's stronger than he's ever been, and his nemesis the Pipe Slider is no more!
I have faith in him =]
Sorry Nagano, you'll have to take 1 tournament off to give Takeda a little spotlight.
Just a prediction of course =]
Another would be both Levi and Nagano making it to stage 3 together and failing near the end in the same spot. Or Nagano surpassing the osbtacle Levi fell on and making it to the final stage.

I'd love to see Takeda single handedly reach the final stage it would actually be more exciting than Nagano, since we have already seen him reach it and clear it. Nagano is my fave but cmon Takedas first final stage and hes alone in the spotlight with it , would be one of sasukes greatest moments and we would all be feeling like were there with him! And what a time to do it he has the first crack at the new one.

And with his rope climbing he can clear it, and remember hes a firefighter, he has to be able to climb ladders fast for his job. Lets hope Takeda has a run equivelent to Akiyama in Sasuke 4, first time to the Final Stage, being the last man standing, and clearing it.

Yep and would be a bigger shocker because I don't think any of us are expecting total victory in 22 at all so would be a great swerve if takeda flies up that ladder and rope and wins first time, don't see it happening though (winning first try bit).

Not the first time it happened, Akiyama and Miyaki beat final stages on their first time making it there

Sorry to metion something different but look at the picture on the first page (reply #7) there is no sign what so ever of a ladder but there seems to be a seat thing connected to a rope. I have no idea what it might be but the most likely a camera but it could be something else

That's the camera that goes behind the competitors. If you look at some past SASUKE final stage runs, it has been there.
And ladder is put away to the side in that video.

I think i may have good proof there using a ladder i translated this from Japanese Wiki 24 Final Attack (final stage)
此關沒有還卡闖入people ahead, but only 17 In the most schematic appearance Corner milestones have united at times. 4 Yes繩子roots. Lee Eun但按照Itaru Tokoro mentioned, the final approval stage and the latest available將12.5 final stage of the women's version of King體能extreme similarity scale於public "wall ladders", connected by right and 10 feet攀繩public. [4] The first 12.5 m is "wall ladders" and the rest is a rope.....wonder how that will pan out

That's the Chinese wiki, and all it says is that according to Lee Enchi, the final stage is a 12.5 ladder + 10 rope, which we already saw with his sketches.

Start believing, maybe.
I'm sticking with just a 74 feet tall rope climb.

Well, oti wasn't here when we established that it was a ladder.
Also, he has his theory. Let him have his opinion. After all, you can't force everyone to accept something based on proof, unless the real thing reveals itself (in 22 obviously)

Start believing, maybe. I'm sticking with just a 74 feet tall rope climb. How is this not proof? (Look closely in the second pic, you can see a rope that stops coming down by the end of the Ladder)

I've seen those. Hundreds of times.
I prefer my proof more.
An e-mail from a Sasuke staff member telling me the final stage is a rope climb.
A ladder is there, yes. And we don't know what it is, yes. Does that mean it's for us to climb? Nope.
