22.5 rope climb was disproved before. Its unlikely unless they change it.
And like I said in the other thread, with the popularity of Sasuke over the sea, it won't be cancelled with low ratings in Japan. I mean, only 1 view counted for the show while I'm pretty sure there were good amount of people watching Sasuke over the stream.

I remember some interesting things about the interview (I listened to it earlier today), but I'm sure Ube can add some more:
1. Nagano's found the way to beat the Gliding Ring, so he says to expect him to go to the Final Stage IF he doesn't screw up in the 1st and 2nd stages. Evidently he's implying that the 3rd stage is the smallest problem of the three, because there's less chance of dumb mistakes, but it's by no means easy. He doesn't know how he would do on the new Final, though.
2. Recently he's been dropping his speed in the 1st and 2nd stages in order to prevent dumb mistakes (à la Sasuke 19, 20, possibly). He says he can go faster, but with the renewal, he wants to be more cautious. (He also jokes about perhaps it being him getting older, but was shouted down by the hosts.)
3. He also talked about his trip to the U.S (Chibi-pa), and thought it was really fun, though he didn't really find lots of good things to eat (just McDonald's.) He felt really thankful that so many people came from afar to come and meet him.
4. Favorite recent event: Muscle Park with Takeda, likes interacting with fans/kids. He likes the fact that Sasuke inspires kids to move in an era where video games take precedent, and is doing a mountain hike with some kids later this year.

He doesn't know how he would do on the new Final, though. Makes sense. If you have the strength you can pretty much do the third stage every time. There are a few wildcards though: Cliff Hanger jump, Jumping Bars (maybe), Spider Flip.

I find it incredibly ironic that the only "good" food he could find was mcdonalds... I thikn Nagano has some wacked out taste buds. LOL

Its all a matter of taste, I mean I like it. And this proves what I was saying before when diet doesn't do too much if you train enough to counter act it.

He didn't have much time to go looking for food. He knows that there probably was good food around there but he was a bit busy.
Also, when you are traveling abroad you sometimes don't want to take chances with what you eat since getting sick in a foreign country is not something you want to do. McDonalds would be a safe and familiar choice plus you don't need vast language skills in order to get your food. He may not necessarily eat fast food all the time.

No, it's not a matter of tastes, because mcdonalds is just bad :[ It's liked... dipped in grease. It's fattening, and not only that, it CLOGS YOUR ARTERIES. Yeah, bet you didn't know that!

Some of McDonald's tastes good (chicken selects are rather tasty). Others... not so much.
The Southern Chicken Sandwich? A cheap rip off of a basic Chick-Fil-A sandwich with about a quarter of the taste. In short, yuck.

I usually get a double cheeseburger, Out of those and regular cheeseburgers I like the regular cheeseburgers better but the doubles are cheaper. EDIT: Forgot to mention, To those who say that its still bad for you even if you do work it off, I have one thing to say. (I wonder why hes not holding up the other 7)

I'm not really one for burgers. I like them alright when completely plain, but otherwise I stick with chicken. And that goes for most restaurants, fast or otherwise.

Wait, how did this go from talking about the third version of the Final Stage to talking about what we order at (possibly fast food) resturants?
So, uhhhm, How 'Bout that Ladder?

Oh, yes mcdonalds chicken is good.
Especially because it's actually only like.. 5% chicken.
I forgot the exact percentage, but it's LOW.
The rest is corn syrup and crap, it's NOT chicken.
You arn't getting much nutrition from it.
It's not like mcdonalds is the only thing Phelps eats.
For dinner he eats a plate of spahgetti and an entire pizza.
For breakfast he eats multiple plates of pancakes, 3 egg sandwhiches, and well, I don't even remember it, i read this in a magazine, but lets just say he eats a lot, healthy and unhealthly.
I bet if you asked Rick is he'd ever eat mcdonalds, I guarantee he'd say no.
Rus, joe, or mark to.

For the sake of this thread, please let the McDonald's thing go already.
