I'll believe it when I see it. You may be fast, but are you fast enough?

it really difficult to put it in perspective sometimes but still. That high in 30 seconds is an enormous test of will, especially after stage 3.

Get some glasses, there is NO Ladder in the Gliding Ring picture.

just because there seems to be a latter of lights doesn't mean its an actual latter. Besides, i dont believe the picture is clear enough anyway.

Rider: Seriously, if you keep that up, then I'm just gonna slap you. Really.
Yojimbo: Good point. I believe it is, however, because
1. it ends at mid point. 2. It seems like two seperate railings from the actual tower structure.
We can discuss this, but that's what I think.

That's a shot from 21, right? There does appear to be a ladder there that's not part of the structure, but it's weird because it's way off centre. I'll have a look at the (low quality, dammit...) video to see if there are any good angles.

Yeah... I don't have the high quality video for 21st, so we have to work with this one.
But obakemono, if that is set up, then it's showing us the plan if a player falls from the rope. Most of the time, when the players drop, they sway left and right, but not that much from front to back. If they place it way front and somehow leave the rope far behind the ladder or like place it on the ladder, then it would make sense with the fact that they won't get hit easily.

Okay, im looking at ubes picture and rider u r wrong
i see 2 ladders, 1 straight up and one more the a tilt
not i doubt its part of the stage, possibly for stage crew, camera men and reporters have a lil fun challenge 2 get up there, just for fun.
until i am proven wrong i will stick to a 22.5M rope climb in 45sec

I think I'll go with either the swing ladder theory or the two pole theory... I'll go with two pole theory

had a thought, with Keshiheads aka the Challenge website posting all the pics from every obstacle that has ever been part of a tournament(that has aired there), do you think Challenge might be able to figure out what the final stage is when Sasuke 18,19,20, and 21 air over there.

They might... who knows?
And when sasuke 21 arrives in America, we can try to take high def photos from nagano's run.

In the latest internet radio interview on yodaraji (http://yodaraji.seesaa.net/article/108282881.html) at around the 5:55 mark, Nagano states that "daremo oshienai" about the last stage, meaning that they (Monster 9) haven't told anyone how or what the Final Stage is. He mentions that they haven't shown anyone how to do it yet.

Funny coz levi Claimed to me he knew what it was from looking at it in the sasuke 20 credits where it was set up (and looked like a ladder and rope) But is not allowed to say if indeed that is or is not it. Nagano was stood with him so hmm although having said he too obviously saw the set up but is not sure how it works and time etc yet and no tester will have shown since no need till it is reached.

Notice Nagano said they SAY anything about it, doesn't mean it wasn't seen. As in Even Nagano and Levi who were staring straight at it still would have to speculate.

What Levi said doesn't contradict what Nagano said. They haven't been shown how the stage works and possibly it hasn't been completely set up in front of the competitors yet. The ladder and rope may not necessarily be the entire set-up for all we know.

Yah I know I just saying they clearly saw the obstacles but as for the rules and time etc thats all not confirmed.

The interview actually sounds interesting anyway can anyone translate it and post it?

I agree. What Nagano and Levi have said do NOT contradict each other. They have both seen the final stage, but that doesn't really mean anything... All of us saw the "Gliding Ring" but until we actually saw someone try it (Nagano) we had NO CLUE how it worked... In fact, most people thought the ring would actually glide down the rail and the contestant would only have one shot at jumping to the mat using the momentum of the slide! Quite the opposite! that being said, I don't think the final stage is going to be that big a surprise... I assume they will keep it quite simple... So, either a 22.5m rope climb, or the ladder + rope climb... Unfortunately, as I've said in the past, my prediction is that Sasuke will be canceled/off-air before anyone makes it to the final stage... I think it will be at least Sasuke 24 before anyone makes it to the final stage and probably by then ratings will be so low that it will be off air Hopefully I'm wrong!
