Since there's a thread for Yamada, why can't Akiyama have one?
The Halfpipe Attack has bested him on his last two attempts, but honestly it's easy compared to 19 and 20's versions. Warped Wall may present problems, but I think Akiyama can do it. Thoughts?

I love him to death and I'll have a myriad of cats if he passes but sadly I don't have that much confidence he'll pass this time But I'll be hopeful and say yes anyway

I think Akiyama should pass the HPA, but I'm a little skeptical on the warped wall though.

I get the feeling he'll do the best he has in a while, Although I get the feeling he'll fail the Slider Jump from not getting a clear view of where he has to grab on the net.
And this is assuming he gets a day time run, if he has to run at night he's pretty much screwed.

They did show him at the start line. It was bright day. So there's still hope!

He will lose time on the wall and fail the slider jump. I'm calling a Sasuke 6 on this, Yamada passing and Akiyama failing the jump hang obstacle.

Sure, I want him to, but just looking at his last two runs, not likely. He hasn't been tested on the WW or SJ, and time is an issue.

Since this is a 24 thread, i have a hunch that Akiyama's 24 will be a copy of Yamada's run in 23. Too much time at the Wall, cleared it & then he rushed & panicked at the Slider Jump. Just a guess though.
As for the day or night issue, I believed that M9 & TBS will not be so nasty to let him run in the darkness rather than in bright daylight. It is the least they can do for their 1st ever Grand Champion. At least for the 1st stage of course.

YES HE CAN!
I think that Akiyama can clear the wall, the dude's trained on it like, 50 thousand times. I think he will clear the Slider Jump. Now, can he clear in time? I hope so.
Also, isn't it weird that they don't show the Kabe in any preview? I mean, I know it's there, but it's not shown at all.

I agree with awee and that is the way i that he would fail in 22 but the stupid halfpipe made my prediction wrong

Well, now the Akiyama pole's in place, he should have no problem with HPA. So as long as he can see the Cross Bridge and Slider Jump properly, I think he can do it.

I thought Akiyama always competed shirtless, being a badass and all.
