Heh heh This is honestly a toss up for me as I didn't vote yet. Takeda might have failed earlier, but Shingo, damn.

Ahahahahahahahahahaha Okay.. okay.. I picked Shingo... only because.. he did it.. TWICE!!! LMFAO.. I mean.. who misses on the plank? I mean.. seriously.. okay.. only one other person has overshot it when running too fast (Tomohiro Kawaguchi in Sasuke 21) but only Shingo manage to dive into the water.. twice.. in the same friggin' spot.. At least with Takeda it was because he wasn't high enough.. Shingo didn't have his brain engaged.. LMFAO...

Actually, i think Shingo perhaps have problems with his sense of balance. sasuke 20,22 & i recently saw sasuke 1 ( 1997 ), Shingo fell off the ledge after clearing the "Goren Hammers" in stage 2. He cleared the hammers, reached the end of the ledge & fell off! I think he should build a balance beam at home & practise. No offence to Shingo's fans but balance & coordination & agility is very different from being fit, fast or strong. There are unfit people with great balance & superfit guys with bad balance.

Nagano clearly has amazing balance and that's what has always helped his precision.

Shingo obviously what he did was totally unforgivable but he redeemed himself in 23 so its all water under the bridge now.

Quoted VenusHeadTrap: "Nagano clearly has amazing balance and that's what has always helped his precision."
This is exactly what i liked about Nagano. I believed his "sea legs" helped build his balance. Nagano has speed, agility & balance. That is why i am such a big fan of Nagano. The only exception was 20 when he was still weak after a recent illness. Apart from 20, he basically ZOOMED past all balancing obstacles with amazing speed without any jerks, trips or anything. Many strong guys like Akiyama, Katsumi, Shingo, Kanno & even Kane Kosugi can't do it with such ease & speed.
In Shingo's defence, Shingo destroyed the S. Kabe ( Wraped Wall ) in sasuke 11. Recently I watched the JET video whiched showed him trekking in deep snow with a log on his back. That training paid off & he basically zoomed up the wall so fast & high up he didn't even need to stretch & reach up for the ledge. His lower body strength was amazing at the time.
Nagano commented on his own lower body strength worries in a radio show recently. I read that in Arsenette's blog in November 2009.

Of which is the most embarrassing fail of those two from 22... Because Takeda failed an actual obstacle.

Anyone who says Takeda needs to get their head checked. Shingo's was far more shameful.

This isn't even a poll, it's a joke. Shingo, obviously. Oh, and nice Sasuke 22 demotivator Rider. Like usual, nicely done.

Shingo (Half Pipe Plank) (18 votes, 100%) Takeda (Jumping Spider) (0 votes, 0%) yeah... methinks Shingo wins. and to reinforce the point TAKEDA ACTUALLY FAILED A REAL OBSTACLE

Shingo by a landslide. Even he was laughing about it after.

As much as I like Shingo, it has to be his failure in 22. Never before have I seen something so ridiculous happen to a top competitor.

Most of the all stars dont have very good balance. Lets see...... Shingo - HPA landing, HPA ramp, Balance Bridge, Balance Tank (almost fell) Nagano - Downhill Jump Shiratori - Balance Tank, Downhill JUmp Yamada - Balance tank, Balance Bridge
