Bust out the violent video games (Grand Theft Auto, Bully) people! We have now achieved gaming nirvana! Now if only we could get Charlie Daniels to actually play Guitar Hero III before he passes judgement on the final boss... For those who have no idea what I'm talking about: www.charliedaniels.com/soapbox-2008-040408.htm

Like I said, lets all celebrate with some GTA4.
And Lulz at that article you posted, Funny considering I have GH3 for Wii (I don't like the songs so I just mute it and play my own).

I was agreeing with you on the GTA part. I don't have a 360 or a PS3 so I don't have GTA4. Just the PS2 trilogy.
Quick question though: why'd you get GH3 if you don't like the songs?

Oh, Well then maybe I should take that 4 part out.
And just because I don't like the songs doesn't mean I don't like the game, My TV has mute and my PC has speakers

Well, all I can say is... LOL EDIT: Jack Thompson... (And Rider, isn't it really hard to play GH with no sound, or even worse, different music in the background? I've tried, I can't do it, lol)

LOL at pic. Well, with these rhythm-based games, it depends whether your style of playing is visual or audial (or both, I guess). I lean more towards audial, so it fucks me up if I try to do GH without sound, but some people can do it well.

God, you have answered our prayers - the evil that is Jack Thompson will bother us no more! Though if he was to come to your front door and stop you, but even then, I'd say you'd find a way to stop him.
But all told, justice is finally served for us gamers!

(And Rider, isn't it really hard to play GH with no sound, or even worse, different music in the background? Haha. I love Guitar Hero 2 or 3. I'm pretty good too. I've gotten all the way to the Devil on expert. And Rider, if you think TtFaF is hard on medium, try it on expert.

Yea, I've only gotten past that beginning part once. And when I did, I actually went pretty far. I think I got to that part entitled "What the...?" I've only seen a few people actually pass that on expert in person.

The only hard part of TTFATF is the intro... the rest of it is easy.
honestly, after the first part you get a lot of easy notes to build up your star power. Then a solo comes and you just use your start power then and you'll make it through fine, rinse wash and repeat that pattern throughout the whole song.
I've beaten it on hard before, but I just can't beat the intro on expert.
Also at some points in the intro of that song you don't have to strum, it makes it more realistic because when DragonForce is playing that song live at certain parts they don't strum, it's how they make the sound, just watch a video of them and you'll see what I mean.

Well I tried expert then it was Hard I failed that early in, and it was 1% not 2%, I tried expert and failed 0% in.
