It's MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighting.

Anyway, this was part of a show that aired in 2002-2003 called サイボーグ魂 (Cyborg Soul). Part (or all, I forget actually) of the show was about turning ladies from different walks of life into MMA fighters.
