I'm sure before sasuke 17 aired they let it out someone had won it so,,,,, we shall see! Add the fact NYD is big day to show this in Japan so if they want the most ratings possible and Kanzenseiha was achieved at the taping I would think they would subtly give it away its happened to get people to watch to see who it is.

Sucks they didn't mention anything about the foreignors.
Back when 24 was first announced it was
Allstars Vs. new Stars Vs. Americans
or something like that.
I see no mention of them now.

Well they can't even if Americans did go since I'm sure they were banking on Levi coming back. Makes sense to amend it. I'm sure at least Nagano is happy that they are taking out the vs. crap.. he hates it.

Nagano is a true hero and is completly against the whole vs stuff what TBS has put on it all - its supposed to be everyone united vs this evil course, not them getting one upsmanship on each other on the course.

All this talk about 24 being the end (Which has pretty much only been done by RC now...) is really getting annoying.. Sure they're making it on new years and they're making it a 6 hour broadcast and also they're showing famous moments from Sasuke history.. But that does NOT mean this is the end... I mean consider the air date... New Years! A day everyone will be partying and maybe at those parties people will turn on the TV and start channel surfing.. So that explains a few things. 6 hours so it will be on longer, not many people probably watch TV on new years so theres not too much competition for time slots (I may be wrong, maybe Ube could clarify?), They're obviously trying to bring in new fans like that, Which explains the Sasuke history, trying to show new watchers what this "Sasuke" is all about and what happened before what they're seeing. It's also apparent they're trying to hype a possible Kanzenseiha.. Well for one it hasn't even filmed (Has the film date been set? I've heard rumors about the 14th but I don't know if that's true or not) so they're trying to get people hyped to keep following it because they think there would be one, look at the Commercials for Sasuke 22 and Sasuke 23, looks like they were hinting kanzenseiha in the commercials for both tournaments didn't they? 2 out of 3 runs were near misses (and I noticed Kanno's no where close was the one in the commercial )... But they still got people to watch now didn't they? 16 to stage 2 in 23 and 9 to Stage 3 and 2 to the Final (Or according to Monster9's Sasuke site, that would be "Fainal" wouldn't it? ) must be REALLY good for ratings.. I'm sure 2012 theorists are talking about the end less than RC is talking about 24 being the last Sasuke... Also RC.... Where are you getting the idea they're trying to say Komiya and Satomi are making it to stage 2 and Sato is making the final? Should someone explain what the word "Aim" means to you? */me is tempted to get one of the MP3s right now but won't since this isn't the chat XD*

the Sato Hiromiti Gym Teacher, "I will never go to the 3rd stage!" haha. Okay, so, this is just a TON of hype. They did this with 23 and 22. No different.

Several sources have confirmed the 8th as the taping date. Not giving names to protect the innocent I think we may have hinted it in other posts here and there but not outright mentioning it. I do know the 3 week wait between Sasuke taping and airing is going to be a nightmare..

Wonder who this surprise guest is? Sounds very interesting..... There are always "surprise" guests during any SASUKE. The actual statement by M9 doesn't really say that there will be a "surprise guest"; that's just the way someone here decided to word it.

It wouldn't surprise me the least bit if the so called surprise guest is either Kane Kosugi, Shunsuke Nagasaki, or even Kinnikun Nakiyama for that matter.
I can't believe the taping date is already one week from today. It's too damn bad that no foreigners will be competing most likely, with the possible exception of Lee Yen Chi.

Special guest="Superman" from the earlier competitions, a.k.a. a new member of the Anti-All-Stars. Oh, and Koriki will return too since he appears to have not been in the last few tournaments.

And yes I'm interested in reading the TBS page when taping is done. Dunno how fast they will have it up.. it will be 3 full weeks before it's even shown.. Well, it certainly won't be spent editing the show. They can pretty much put every gorram run within their time slot.
