If you've noticed they put the more dangerous obstacles later in the course so you have to be tougher just to be able to get to these obstacles, I mean just look at the first obstacles of stage 1 and stage 2, the Downhill jump, it works well in stage 2, but the Rope Glider had people getting hurt from landing sideways because they want to get to the Log Grip quicker, the Downhill Jump you're still landing sideways to get to the Salmon Ladder quicker, but yet no one has ever been injured on that from landing wrong (Exlcuding Nakata Daisuke but he was already injured, his landing just aggravated the injury), Now look at how many people would hurt if you put the Downhill Jump at the start of stage 1, Just think about it, Aoki Yasuo + Downhill Jump = Call the Ambulance

Yeah they had the Rope Glider thing in Sasuke 18 and that turned out to be a disaster. After much feedback they just took it out of the course entirely.

I thought it was taken out because 5 people got injured.

I thought a similar fate happened with the end of Banzuke. It's not just that one person got hurt, several people got severely hurt.
Ziplines are never a good idea without proper supervision and a decent drop distance.

It's a good change IMO. Why risk needless injuries atthat point? If competitors can get to that point, then they will likely pass anyways. However, it's not that easy as Lee En Chi found out...
