So we have a thread for the easiest obstacle, but what's the hardest obstacle from ghosts of Sasuke's past?
My top 5
1. Pipe Slider (17)
2. SCH
3. Curtain Cling
4. Body prop
5. Jumping Spider (19)
Feel to to agree/disagree. Also you can give specific version of obstacles. I.E. Sasuke 19's JS or Sasuke 20's HPA.

5. Jumping Spider. Trust me, it's MUCH harder than it looks. Especially 19's Jumping Spider. Quite frankly they should have given everybody another chance for having to try this obstacle. 4. Pipe Slider. At the end of the day, your arms are burning, and now you have to drive a pipe across a track and swing around your height to the finish. And if you fail, you are faced with eternal dismay. 3. Hang Climbing/Spider Flip. This is not a tie, it's a combo. First you have to do a rock wall WITH YOUR ARMS. Oh yeah, and it's ascending backwards. Then you have to pull yourself up with your fingers and jump across a 2 meter gap, and if you fail the drink's 5 meters below. And you're humiliated by VenusFlyTrap. 2. Salmon Ladder. This is basically six pull ups - that is, if you get it on the first try. This obstacle is pure evil, and as long as it's on the course it will continue to annihilate competitors. 1. Tsuna Nobori. For goodness sake, only 2 have ever passed it and 20+ have tried.
Honorable Mentions: Jump Hang, Slider Jump, Curtain Cling, Cliffhanger

5. Slider Jump (22): IMO, this was a very tough obstacle. Even Nagano failed it haha. You had to time your jump very well and grip the net well too.
4. Jumping Spider (19): This obstacle was really tough. IMO, the Sasuke 19 version of the Jumping Spider was the toughest of them all so far. You had to get a great jump and really stick well in between the walls.
3. Flying Chute (19): Not only was this obstacle tough. It was painful as well. I know from recreating it haha.
2. Body Prop (5-17): This was an extremely difficult obstacle. It also tested a different type of upper body endurance than is seen in the course today. Also, if your hands were really sweaty, it made it so much more difficult haha.
1. Pipe Slider (4-17): Every single allstar failed this obstacle at some point. It was a tough obstacle and a bit luck based, because it all came down to if the pipe would stay put or not. You also had to have great technique to make the jump.

I cannot link to whatever obstacle it is you mean. this is why i think we should just use the G4 names or atleast names where we can use deductive reasoning to figure out the names, or commonly used japanese names, IE cross bridge Shin-cliff hanger rolling maurta sadan rolling maurta and when people use s*** like "rokudantobi" or Tsuna Nobori, it somewhat pisses me off, I cannot be alone on this.

Body Prop seems like one of the most difficult obstacles ever IMO. If numerous competitors (with many of them being pretty good) have fallen or nearly fallen on this obstacles in nearly every Sasuke tournament from 5 to 17, I'd assume that it's crazy hard. Although I've never truly tried something similar to the Body Prop, I'd say that I would almost certainly lose here if I ever got to try the old Stage 3. Also, Curtain Cling, Cliff Hanger, and Pipe Slider are definitely high up there on the toughness scale---from 1 to 10 (1 being very easy, 10 being very hard), I'd give the Body Prop a 9 or 10, the Curtain Cling an 8, the Cliff Hanger a 9, and the Pipe Slider a 9 or 10. Wow, this post has changed my outlook on the "14-17 era" Stage 3 being MUCH harder than the current Stage 1. Irony!

You're not, but it doesn't matter. Nothing will be done about it so you just gotta let it go.
I guess the old Jumping Spider was one of the hardest. I think they should reinstate it, personally.

Jumping Spider from 19, Flying chute from 19, goddammit everything from 19 was so damn difficult.
Oh yeah, and also the original Ascending Climb, since apparently from what I've heard, you couldn't use your feet. That's just insane.

Well I don't agree on every level, 'cause I like using some of the Japanese names as well. Most any given time I can figure out what obstacle it was especially if they give how many people failed and attempt it. Final rope? different story.

Would make no difference to Nagano though lol . Yeah the final rope/G rope( ive concluded theres no difference) has only been beaten twice but its the time what makes it so hard. So the hardest obstacles to me are still Shin Cliff Hanger, salmon ladder, pipe slider, and 19s flying chute.

19's JS and the Curtain Cling are both miles harder than the SL.

The Curtain Cling isn't even that hard if you have the finger strength.

And the salmon ladder isn't even hard if you have the technique, what's your point?

My point is the Curtain Cling isn't the terrible obstacle we've made it out to be in the past. I'd say it's easier than the Salmon Ladder, just because you burn so much energy on the Salmon Ladder.

Agreed. After all, the Curtain Cling only ever eliminated 3 people in the tournaments that it was in, which is the same amount of competitors that the Salmon Ladder took out in its first tournament (Sasuke 18) alone. Keep in mind that TBS and G4 never really made the Curtain Cling look like a dreaded obstacle like they've made the Salmon Ladder appear either. I'm not saying that the Curtain Cling isn't a tough obstacle, but the Salmon Ladder beats it by a lot. In simple terms: Curtain Cling = tough, Salmon Ladder = [glow=red,2,300] WAY[/glow] tougher

Maybe for some people Yamfriend, but take it from soemone who has replicated both obstacles.
I had way more obstacle with the curtain cling.
By replicated them for the curtain cling I actually nailed a sheet to make it almost exactly like the real version.
For the salmon ladder I actually built a replica (Albeit not as massive as say Oti's) I just nailed things to a tree, but it's the same distance and everything and the tree's are parallel so it's really the same thing just cheaper.
Salmon ladder was tougher for me.
Also keep in mind I'm pretty sure more people have attempted the salmon ladder, thus more people failed it. And it's also on a timed stage. While the curtain cling you're in no rush to beat, you get all the time in the world to prepare. (Then you did)
And I don't think you can accurately judge how tough either obstacle is until you've tried them yamfriend. I'm pretty sure Oti has though.
It's just the curtain cling destroys your fingers, and having the cliffhanger right next to it was just mean.
Since the obstacle is fairly short you don't need much endurance to beat it, but it takes more strength than almost any other obstacle.
That includes the cliffhanger. (Yeah I have that to, guess what I can beat with a 20lb vest on? CH. Guess what I can't beat without the vest? CC)
Just my opinion though. Take it for what it is.
