Hey guys. I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but after watching Sasuke 1 on G4 how it seemed to air after 18 or 19, I was wondering what tournament did G4 air for Ninja Warrior's first episode.

I hear they showed 15 first but I'm not sure how true this is, I hear they showed 2 later on after showing 16, but I really don't know. By the time I started watching G4 had already had almost all of them showed (up to 17 but 18 hadn't happened yet, they waited a while to show 18 and it seemed so different when I saw it on youtube (for good reason XD), 19 happened after that obviously, G4 finally showed 18 a few days before 19 which they showed a couple months afterwards. They showed 20 more on time, between either 20 and 21 (I think) is when they finally showed 1. The tournaments usually show a couple months after their japanese broadcast now, 23 will show in december (which ironically enough is when 24 films in japan)

Sasuke 1 was a special that aired in the summer last year.. well after Sasuke 20 if that helps. As for before that.. I know they did up to 17 for a while then did 18-19 in the same month (I think a November).. then after that they kept up with the tourneys albeit 2-3 months behind the official.

I'm pretty sure 15 was the first. It is the only tournament where the G4 announcers commentary was really cheesy and in every other one he was just talking normally.

Yeah, I think it was (not counting Kunoichi) 15-17 first, then 2-14, then 18-20, 1, then back in order from 21 on. Or something like that.

All I know is that the first time I turned on Ninja Warrior, I saw Yoko Mori in Kunoichi 1 when she ran out of time on the Escape Ladder.
I remember watching a few NW episodes with the old obstacle guide but it quickly changed to its current form.
That's another question, when did G4 switch from the old guide to the new one?

Yeah, I remember seeing the tournament where the guy sounded way too dramatic. So I guessed that was probably the first one he voiced. It makes sense though.

I think they broadcasted 9 first.
I dunno, my first tournament is SASUKE 10.
