I miss the one from 19 and 20 so much, it was rad and the wipe outs had people almost hitting the platform when they'd lose their grip. I remember on the new one when David practically reached downward to grab the rope, that about did it for me and I didn't like the obstacle. Not to mention how many people ran across the landing in 23 still holding the rope....

So... perhaps make the rope shorter, and the landing pad smaller? That would definitely increase the difficulty.

Eh...I don't care if it stays or goes. It has a lot of pros AND cons by this point.

yea they should replace and put something like the circle slider not the actual circle slider but something with a spring board that would be awesome

Actually, I think I would be ok with the Half-pipe Attack staying if they just made it a little harder. Make the thing longer, give it a shorter run-up and make the rope short so you have to grab it high up and it doesn't reach the landing pad.
Also, it shouldn't swing out over the pad. You should have to swing with your momentum and land on it.

That would make it harder than it was in 20!
....but then again, that's the idea, right?

The course as a whole disappoints me on its difficulty. Yes, that was the idea.

But you like seeing people in the final stage?

You sound like a mixture of the design team and Higuchi, Oti. The design team wants everyone to fail Stage 1. Higuchi and M9 want someone to go all the way. Conflicting thoughts, if you will.

I just simply didn't think Higuchi thought the same way in Sasuke 18.
But what's it matter now. The focus is the HPA, and how it can be made harder - or should it just go.

It should stay the same. You can't make every obstacle a death trap.

There shouldn't be any push-over obstacles, either.

HPA from Sasuke 20 is one of my favorite obstacles of all time. Change it back to that version or dop it.
It's like... pretty much the most massive obstacle in Sasuke history. That thing takes up a ton of space.

The HPA should go back to its 19 incarnation. The flames on the design looked pretty cool.

Lol, yeah. Plus, they put off any competitor that attempts the obstacle, adding to the difficulty ;D

Lol, yeah. Plus, they put off any competitor that attempts the obstacle, adding to the difficulty ;D It was a great distraction.... But the HPA has gotten boring.. pretty much no one fails it anymore except the people who you think "How'd they get there?" *dodges attacks from lfrt because I said that and Komiya failed there* Pretty much it's just taking up space now.. it's stopping the obstacles from going back into a line, plus it's gotten dull to watch.. Just replace it...

Lol I've seen that one before. I'm convinced they had that in mind in the original design, and once they were found out they changed it.
Yeah, I agree it's become something of a nuisance, but I doubt it will be changed. Though if it were to be changed, I'm not entirely sure what I'd replace it with...

Well if it were replaced I'd take anything as long as it was interesting!
