Why did the producers get rid of the Dance Bridge after only one Sasuke?? Some of the wipeouts were pretty awesome. One guy practically flipped off the end of the bridge! It was also good as a time waster. why was is removed?

I'd say it was a good obstacle, just a little too time consuming.
For SASUKE 11, I think they wanted to scale back a bit. I mean the biggest things with SASUKE 10's First Stage are the Jump Hang and the time. The Jump Hang was ridiculously far in SASUKE 10 and the time was probably the strictest time limit ever (with the fastest time being under 3 seconds). I think they wanted to make things a little easier (think like a 20 -> 21 change), thus the Dance Bridge was taken out and replaced with the easier (and faster) Balance Bridge.

I never liked it. It's like the Bungee Bridge; it just seems like a time-waster.

I'm a fan all "bridge" obstacles (except the one below). The Dance Bridge was slightly underwhelming however.
I've never understood the Bungee Bridge. It looked like it belonged back in Sasuke 6.

Did anyone even fail the Bungee Bridge? IMO, it seems pretty ironic that on the redesigned Sasuke 18 course, they had an obstacle that easy.

The Bungee Bridge was one of the worst obstacles of all time along with Sasuke 18 as one of the worst competitions of all time.
I think the producers made a mistake with Sasuke 18. In their attempt to change practically everything, they ended up with some pretty bad obstacles. The First Stage was just ok, the Second Stage was pretty bad, and Stage 3 was a disaster.
The time limit for the first stage was far too lenient, but the second stage time limit was sky high. It took 5 more tournaments to get it down to a decent limit and we're still having 15+ second clears.
It's been said before but they should have debuted Shin-Sasuke with 20's course.

Well I agree with stage 3... but I say stage 2 was just "okay". But quite frankly I don't think the producers cared about any obstacle except the salmon ladder. They knew it was going to be the staple obstacle of stage 2.
Besides that it's pretty much the old stage 2 with the metal spin and wall lift, and the downhill jump at least resembling the chain reaction.
And stage 1 wasn't "okay". It had a ton of new and great obstacle. yeah the great wall and bungee bridge weren't that great, but everything else worked perfectly.

To me, the first stage had 3 "bad" obstacles: The Rope Glider, The Bungee Bridge, and The Great Wall. That's not too many, but the time limit was too high and there was no sense of urgency. I do realize the Salmon Ladder was intended to be the "signature" obstacle, but removing the Chain Reaction, Balance Tank, and ESPECIALLY the Wall Lift (I'm talking about 18 only) was, in my opinion, a bad move. It just seemed that the producers forced change where it was awkward to do so. Fortunetely, they got their act together for 20.
