Seems G4 decided they wanted more shows but locked themselves into the December date for some unknown reason. Seems JET Finally got their show (Sasuke 23) and so we know for a fact G4 finally has the tourney (albeit a bit later than usual).. so I'm sure they just spent most of their time producing the other 4 segments for the 19th. That was supposed to be the tourney day but they are banking reaaaaaaaally badly that ANW will be a huge success.. I think they are actually banking too much.. it's still a trials show.. not an American version of the show..

We don't know when Sasuke 23 is. There hasn't been an official announcement.. Part 2 of ANW is definitely the 19th (same times.. 6-8 pm). We don't know if the tourney starts at 8pm.. that part is only guessing. Originally the 19th was supposed to be the tourney.. but up to now there hasn't been additional information.. their main focus is on the trials..

AOTS just showed one of their shorter runs. It was of a guy who failed at the rope swing thing. It had a little timer on the corner, nice fancy angles from on the course, someone doing commentary during the showing of the run, and a quick little replay. Overall it seems pretty clean and a bit more professional from G4, so far.

If so then they might show it on the AOTS notes for the day with clips of the video. They usually update that within 24 hours.

Overall it seems pretty clean and a bit more professional from G4, so far. We already knew how the quality would be from the segment on it from the Navi and from the Broadcast. If you somehow didn't believe that was G4's footage look at the angles then look at the runs on youtube and where cameramen are standing. I can expect a little timer thingy like they did for the NF4 thing in the Sasuke 22 pre-show.

Of course it was G4's footage, I was just pointing out things I noticed as its own show with its own runs instead of making comments about Navi footage. The Navi footage didn't show anyone's full run, just snippets.
There was a small timer in the upper right corner and when the guy fell, a small "FAIL" bar popped out the left of it. And it wasn't one of those videos that showcase the obstacles. This was an actual run.

I know, I saw it on the 1:00 AM rerun (which is the AotS I usually watch). although even though this WAS his full run, I think he was one of the ones shown on the navi.

I just set my DVR to record ANW and saw how the first 4 episodes are broken down. "First wave prelims", "Second wave prelims", "Final wave prelims", "First half semis". So I guess we can expect to see our runs on the first episode and the rest of the time we will have to watch and see where they show us being pissed as the faster times roll in, lol. They'll probably edit me out chewing out that kid dressed as a US soldier, friggin punk!

I dont know what pissed me off more, my shoddy performance or the fact that the camera crew was trying to follow me around and listen to everything I was saying after the fact. Ah well...lesson learned, go later, definitely day 2! But Im looking forward to see how our characters shine through on TV. Pretty sure I'll be the American Yamada, lol.

Schedule is on the G4 site for the 12th (so far it doesn't go to the 19th so I can't post that yet: g4tv.com/schedule/index.html?datetime=12/12/2009%2011:00%20AM American Ninja Warrior 6:00 PM Part 1 of 8. The first wave of American competitors take on the Qualifying Round of the US course. Featuring American Brett Sims. 6:30 PM Part 2 of 8. The second wave of American competitors take on the Qualifying Round of the US course. Featuring Brian Orosco. 7:00 PM Part 3 of 8. The final wave of American competitors take on the Qualifying Round of the US course. Featuring Levi Meeuwenberg. 7:30 PM Part 4 of 8. The first half of the qualifying American competitors take on the Semi-Final Round of the US course. Earlier in the day starting at 9 am I think.. is Sasuke 19 and runs to 22. (Looks like without the pre and post shows)
