Do any of you think that the harsher/colder winter weather will play a major role in the results of the Sasuke 24 tournament? After all, I don't believe that the competitors are used to training in such a climate, and this may lead to an at least somewhat disappointing tournament. What is your opinion on this? Huh?

Well in SASUKE 14 and SASUKE 16, 14 and 16 people cleared. So... 24 people will clear in SASUKE 24. (jk) Then again the course was pretty easy in those tournaments so I can't say for sure. It will likely be better than a summer tournament resultswise.

Would they do Sasuke if it snowed?

It didn't stop Kunoichi. They had Sasuke in the rain one time, too.
I think it'll be fine. As long as there's no snow, the cold will be the last thing on ____'s mind as he or she runs the course.
Snow could affect it, though.

LOL I can see them getting stuck to the frozen pipes holding the obstacles up when they try to grip on it.. Okay okay that wasn't funny but I seriously thought it...

Random Competitor: "Help me, I can't let go of the Slider Jump!!!"
M9 staff: "Maybe we should have thought that through..."
Weather will have an effect, either good or bad. That's a given for any outdoor event. (Execpt outdoor Rock Paper Scissors, but that's another story) It will probably have a bad effect on some, but for people that are used to this, it definitely won't.

Something tells me that rain may make the Spider Jump that little bit harder. Ever tried spider climbing in the rain? Not exactly easy.

Imagine if the course froze over. I don't think anyone would complete the first stage under those conditions. I'd be impressed if anyone would even clear the Jumping Spider haha. I have a feeling that the Jumping Spider will be a real killer this tournament though. It seems competitors struggle with this obstacle a lot more during the Spring competitions when it's colder. And, it'll probably be even colder in December. However, I still think a fair amount of people will clear stage one, and someone will probably reach the final stage again IMO.

The course in the cold will cause more Jumping Spider failures
BUT
The course in the rain will cause more Jyunidantobi, Log Grip, Jumping Spider, Halfpipe Attack, and Warped Wall failures

Snow could affect it, though. Right. I had a dream that it was so cold and snowy, that the water freezed, and anyone who fell hit rock solid ice. It was an awesome dream I must say

Well, if it's just cold, it should be fine. I actually like the winter where I live more than the spring and fall because it's dry. Cold, but dry. So, I CAN bundle up and go trick, or climb, or what have you.
But snow and/or rain and/or sleet... Yeah. Bad.

The cold doesn't mean the JS will be hard... not unless the walls actually start to freeze, a bit of moisture can actually help you stick to the walls. If anything we'll see a regular amount of JS fails.

Also, Sasuke 3 was held in the cold. And last I checked, 5 - count em, 5 - people made it to the Final Stage that day.
So the cold will hardly pose a problem IMO.

the only thing I'm worried about is rain/snow. I wouldn't care much about the cold after a proper warm up, and if I wouldn't care, why should the Sasuke Bada$$es?

Like someone said, Kunoichi 2 had snow during the Final Stage, and of course, let's not forget the rainy goodness that was Sasuke 8. I mean, no one really WANTS rain (or snow) on their parade, but I think they'll still do it if some kind of precipitation should fall. 'cept acid rain, of course.

If anything we'll see a regular amount of JS fails. The Jumping Spider typically has more fails in the Spring. Whatever the reason, your Kenjiros and Mr. SASUKEs of the world tend to fail there more.

if its raining expect the js 2 be a killer, infact everything should be a killer what people tend to forget is that the spider walk in stage 2 had a can of Sasuke spray to stop you from slipping off. The JS doesnt. Also the grips for the LG will be wet and harder to hold on to, the HPA and WW will be slippery
infact, everthing else could be fine, minus the possible step obsacle.
