Cameras that shoot film faster than the typical twenty-some frames per second are common in major sporting events and Discovery Channel television shows, so I wonder if Sasuke would benefit from some super slo-mo.
You could probably attach one on the main camera dolly without a problem and maybe get one to point at the finish line, too.

I think it's a bad idea because there's just nothing fun to watch at 1,000 frames per second on Sasuke.

There is no situation where high speed cameras are inappropriate.

I didn't like the phrase "dumb" but I did chose it. I don't think it would work all that well here. Then again.. aren't people complaining that the show is long? Could you imagine how much longer it would be with replays of replays? They already have slow mo for those moments.. Besides.. the drinking game would be epic.. I'd be yelling "Fukui-san" every time they brought it up.. LOL

I think there could be some entertainment benefit aside from the obvious, but I'm also starting to think that Ninja Warrior would benefit from high-speed more than Sasuke. ^^;

Sorry the Fukui-san was a reference to Iron Chef (the original one ).

Imagine seeing the Terrible Three failing in slowmo with those cameras... Epic!
And I don't remember who brought it up, but the video showing the fails of the (specific stage 3 obstacle) would be really cool.

Wouldn't be bad at all. And, I don't know you, but I wouldn't complain at all if the show was longer OMG...imagine high-speed Jump Hang failures...it would have been awesome...

Sorry the Fukui-san was a reference to Iron Chef (the original one ). Hahahahaha! I swear I'm going to make a shirt with that quote. I absolutely LOVE the dubbed original Iron Chef. I watch it EVERY night. I want to buy all of Chairman Takeshi Kaga's outfits. They're nifty!! I thought I was the only one in the world who's ever made a "Fukui-san" joke. I'm glad I'm not alone.

The British game show "The Cube" relies on high-speed cameras to make things appear interesting, and it's doing fairly well, but I wouldn't think it'd improve Sasuke.

A lot of my compatriots like The Cube (protip: I think it's getting a US version), but I think the presentation could be better. However, that's for another thread.
