In your opinion, what was the funniest competitor failure in Sasuke 23? IMO, it has got to be when that STQer (#47) fell immediately on the Salmon Ladder. I already knew beforehand that he was going to fall there, but actually seeing on the TBS broadcast made me laugh so hard for some reason. Maybe it was just how he looked so confident when he started the obstacle or what...whatever. It's gotta be one of the funniest wipeouts I've ever seen on Sasuke throughout its history.
P.S.---Sorry to the STQer who this is about and his fans...please don't hate me!!!

yes, definitely Aoki's falure was hilarious, but I also found quite funny the Curtain Slider fall of...Blanik? The Olympian from poland, anyway. As for the first-rung failures on the Salmon ladder...they were so sudden I couldn't see them at all. Tahta was kinda "Here he goes...Downhill Jump cleared...now approaching to the Salmon Ladd...*PLUNK*"
The guy who brought the bar off the salmon ladder was pretty funny.
The medalist on the curtain slider all the build up for him.
Aoki on the steps.
Levi on the cliff hanger was kind of funny especially after seeing his video and all the practice he was doing for the jump bit of it and it was the first lead up part he actually screwed up.
Yamadas awesome spin in the air as he fell off the slider jump.
OKuyama on the spider flip (I was sad for him that he failed) but I kinda laughed how something everyone said was dead easy and unfailable he managed to screw up and fell in a spectacular fashion but must be said it looked kinda painful. Kinda gave me de ja vu of the stick slider.
Definitely the two Salmon Ladder first rung ones for me. Especially Sato's, pulling the whole bar off with him...I mean, I know it's different doing it in competition, but weren't they supposed to be training for this? Hashimoto completely underestimated the distance between the rungs, and Sato's way was just wrong.

yeah, that was pretty funny and scary at the same moment. It was the first think I though between the shock peak and noticing that he got a second attempt. "he...didn't...even...touch...the...net...with all the practise he's done?" then I started crying again.
That one fat 45-year-old guy who I think actually thought he would do well (you know, the one who took off his red shirt immediately prior to his run and "showed off" to the crowd) and ended up falling backwards after the second step of the Jyunidantobi. All I can say about that can be summed up in one word: EMBARRASSING!!!
Also, now that I think about it, I have to admit that although he's probably my favorite Sasuke competitor of all time (who I USUALLY stick up for, with this post being an exception ), Mr. Octopus's Sasuke 23 run was short-lived (like always ) but hilarious. Watching him take on the Jyunitantobi and waddle across the first half of it was great, and his fall into the water also funny ;D yet sad at the same time.
Nevertheless, this 61-year-old man at least did better than the other guy that I mentioned!
