Definitely 2, cause damn, that thing was exciting and dramatic, two things that G4 tries to create by mixing up the order.

They might show both but one of them being Fast forwarded.. they might actually show the first right up to the fail then fast forward the second to show his end and the Mr. Sasuke line... I'd be really shocked if they showed both in their entirety.. not without sacrificing a few people for it.. wait.. this is G4.. they might.

Well considering #99 was in the day with the sun barely starting to go down and #100 being completely at night... they kind of HAVE to show his first run...

Not really. Only those who watched Sasuke 23 would know. Those who watch Ninja Warrior would be like "Oh... it's night time. Ok."

I'd laugh if they just showed his 2nd run with no explanation
Or better yet, only his first run.

I pick only the second. I really wouldn't put it past G4 to say that he waited until nightfall. Seriously.

I want them to show both, so they can show all the drama after the fail and then the narrator guy can go explain it in a replay and after Nagano completes the stage, the narrator can be like "Amazing! Despite having to run stage 1 a second time, fishing boat captain Makoto Nagano was able to gracefully breeze through the stage!" but then he'll also keep bringing up the issue of fatigue and keep asking something like "Will Makoto Nagano succumb to fatigue or will he overcome it to show why he is our grand champion and become the next... niiiiinja warrrrrior!??!?!?!?!" to keep viewers interested, and he'll keep bringing it up before and after each stage, and it'll make the fact that Nagano made the final stage even greater.
It's a goldmine, I tell ya!!!

I believe G4 will show both runs in their entirety.
I really hope G4 will expand to 6 or even 7 episodes so they don't end up cramming things.
I especially hope they don't fast-forward through a bunch of deep stage 3 runs.

G4 will likely show the second one only, but they MIGHT show the Slider Jump fail in the replay.
I'd be ticked if they only showed the first run and pretended he didn't get to try the second through final stages.

that would be stupid. I know we are talking about g4, but that would be stupid even for their standards. They push a lot on Nagano's performances.

Both. No reason why they wouldn't.

They're probably going to do a lot of fast forwards and jump-aheads during runs for stage 2 and 3 since the only change was the Unstable Bridge. They would probably cram stage 2 into one episode and stage 3 + final into the last episode, thus retaining the 5 episode format.

I'd say the first run would be a nice episode cliffhanger. No pun intended. Then show the 2nd run on the next episode.

I am 100% sure that g4 will only show Nagano clearing.

I WANT them to show both, but they'll probably only show his second run in its entirety and only show/explain his first run in a fast-forward.
Also, I'd actually like it better if they had like 6 or 7 episodes like jfeathe said.

Perhaps they could do something like "Coming up... the biggest twist in Ninja Warrior History"
