What number do you think he will get and how good do you think he will do?

Well, he did pretty well as 93 this time around so he'll probably be around that again. Several people still did better, so I don't think he'll get 96+. As for how he'll do, assuming that he doesn't make dumb mistakes in Stage 1 and manages not to time out on Stage 2 (that was close this time around) AND doesn't dislocate his shoulder at the Arm Rings...I still don't see him getting past the Shin-Cliffhanger. He hasn't even gotten past the Cliff v3, has he? And his upper body stamina isn't the best, so I could conceivably see him fall at the Devil Steps, if he's tired.

I...don't know. If he doesn't destroy his shoulder under the wall lift I think he can get past the arm rings. After then, I really don't know. I bet he'll stay in low 90's like 23.

We'd all like to see him again, but perhaps he should just hang it up if his shoulder is that screwed. There's more to life than just SASUKE (it's hard to believe but it's true).

I think Shingo will be in the 90's again. I think he'll at least go pretty far into the 3rd stage. He has beaten the shin-cliffhanger at Muscle Park before. From what I understand, that one is harder than the real one because you can't use any chalk or adhesive spray. He's beaten that at least twice, though. As long as his shoulder doesn't give him any problems, I think he can beat the shin-cliffhanger. I still think he can go all the way. (I think that about Yamada, too, but I doubt anyone here will agree with me on that.) I would really like to see Shingo beat the entire course.

With no doubt Shingo would go far in third stage, but I don't know if he could achieve "the k word" (thanks to whoever tough this, it's cool ) . I'd like if he did, tho. I do agree with you. It's just about his mind demons.

I thought he only beat the v3 cliff hanger at muscle park twice. Never the shin-cliff. As for the topic, He'll only probably get around 80-low 90's. I honestly don't want to believe it, but I think he might do worse this time around. I hope I'm dead wrong, DEAD WRONG.

Yeah, Shingo beat the shin-cliffhanger at Muscle Park. I think Ube said that Shingo is the only All-star who's beaten both versions of the Muscle Park course. I may be wrong about that, though. I think he's done the new version of Muscle Park twice. I mean he's beaten it twice. He may have tried it more than that. The most recent time that he beat it (that we know of; he may have gone more than this and managed to go unnoticed) is on the Muscle Park site. blog.livedoor.jp/musclepark/archives/51310093.htmlI hope Shingo does well in Sasuke 24. I REALLY want to see him go all the way.

I'm led to believe he goes a lot on off days and end of day so that he doesn't get caught by cameras. Because he lives in Tokyo and he is a lot more recognized.. he has to plan it accordingly. And yes to my knowledge he's the only one to have done both versions. Bunpei is the only other that beat the old one but to my knowledge he hasn't done the second yet. At least I don't think so.

To be honest, although it would make me extremely happy to see him in the Final Stage, I just don't think it's going to happen with his shoulder (and even if it did happen, the shoulder would probably hold back his ladder and rope climbing performance). I think he'll either go in Stage 2, or on Stage 3's Cliff Hanger or Spider Flip. As for number, I'm thinking low 90s again. 91 or 92. He's my favourite AllStar, but I think his shoulder's getting close to checkmate on his SASUKE career.

Personally.. the day Shingo stops going Sasuke is done forever. I honestly believe it. There's no way he won't show up if it's still going.

I think he could get to the devil steps or Cliff Hanger but I cannot see him passing that with his shoulder!

Playing Dr. Armchair once more, the shoulder injury could've been avoided if Shingo didn't get out of the blocks so damn fast. If I had to experience that much torque, my arm would've fallen off, too.
It'll definitely be a struggle, especially with the relatively short turnaround, but the "high-impact" parts of the course for the upper body are few and far between.

How bad is his shoulder now? Was it as bad when it started bothering him way back in Sasuke 5, or is it much worse?

Personally.. the day Shingo stops going Sasuke is done forever. I honestly believe it. There's no way he won't show up if it's still going. Although Shingo has been there for every tournament, guys like Bunpei and Akiyama have been injured and haven't shown up. Although age is a factor, Shingo's shoulder has been giving him trouble for years and he has to be thinking if it's really worth it to keep punishing himself. He would be missed but it is understandable if he walked away. SASUKE is amazing, but your health and well-being is more important.

Idk. I think Sasuke is part of his life now. I mean. what the heck, he GREW up with it! In Sasuke 1 he was still an high school student. I think a lot of his life would be gone, it's his routine now. Maybe he could give up and not try to get high up results anymore (but it's very unlikely to me), but he would still be there.

Shingo wasn't in high school during Sasuke 1. He was already working at the Hasegawa Service Station. He was 23. You may be thinking of them saying that he competed in track and field in high school. Still, he's been doing Sasuke for 12 years. In a way, he has grown up with it. I don't think he'll leave. He'll keep going until Sasuke is canceled.

if Shingo quit SASUKE I think I would be crying my eyes out :`( but if it was that or him being in pain... I prefer quitting

I second that. SASUKE is important, but retaining one's permanent health comes first.
