I think that since Sasuke 24 has so much apparent anticipation for it already, TBS/Monster 9/whatever should have the top 100 competitors ever on Sasuke throughout its history in order to almost assure that someone achieves Kanzenseiha. People who would qualify would have to meet at least one of these requirements: 1. They've cleared the First Stage at least twice in tournaments from 1 to 17. 2. They've cleared the First Stage at least once in Shin-Sasuke tournaments (18-23). 3. They've come close to clearing the First Stage on multiple occasions. 4. They've cleared the Second Stage at least once in any tournament. 5. People who have only been in less than 3 tournaments but have shown that they have much potential on the course. Just a few of the people who would be eligible to be in Sasuke 24 if this were put into effect: All 6 of the All-Stars, Most (if not all) of the American Ninja Challenge and American Ninja Warrior winners, Some of the past Sasuke Trials qualifiers (Yuuji, Kanno, etc.) Naoki Iketani, Daisuke Nakata, Daisuke Miyazaki, Koji Yamada, Lee Enchi, Yoshiuki Okuyama, Paul Terek, Hiromichi Sato, the Nagasaki brothers, Kenjiro Ishimaru, The Monkey, Shinji Kobayashi, Kenji Takahashi, Kota Honna, Yuji Washimi, the Hamm brothers, several Japanese athletes (i.e. Silver Olympic medalist who cleared Stage 1 in Sasuke 21, sorry can't remember the name ),......... These and other impressive competitors should compete together in Sasuke 24 in order to assure that Kanzenseiha is indeed achieved!!! ;D Please feel free to give your opinion on this and add any competitors that I might have missed. Thanks!!! P.S.---75 posts!!! W00t!!!

That won't work.
Did you see how much stuff they had to edit out in 23... like all the STQ? We got almost no interviews, and things felt very rushed. They need comedians and joke competitors so it doesn't take forever to finish.

agree with supersheep. And it would be boring if there only were good competitors. Plus, they don't want A kanzenseiha. They want Nagano or Takeda (or shingo?) from the all stars, or Yuuji or Kanno from the current elite achieveing kanzenseiha.

1. They've cleared the First Stage at least twice in tournaments from 1 to 17. Jordan Jotchev Hidenori Nagasawa Hiroyuki Asaoka Takayuki Kawashima Kosuke Yamaguchi Kinnikun Nakayama Ken Hasegawa Yoshihito Yamamoto Tatsuya Yamamoto
2. They've cleared the First Stage at least once in Shin-Sasuke tournaments (18-23). All of the STQers from 23 Levi Meeuwenberg Brian Orosco Miyazaki beach guy Richard King Tomohiro Matsunaga
3. They've come close to clearing the First Stage on multiple occasions. Takuya Kawahara (19, 22, 23) Tomoyuki (10, 12, 14) Honma Kota (13, 15) Toyohisa Ijima (11, 14)
4. They've cleared the Second Stage at least once in any tournament. TOO MANY TO LIST
5. People who have only been in less than 3 tournaments but have shown that they have much potential on the course. David Campbell ANW #6-9 All of UNCLI Travis Allan Shroeder
Also you kinda screwed Kenichi Arai out of a spot - he cleared the first stage in 10 and timed out on the Tarzan Rope in 15. He's been in four tournaments.

They need comedians and joke competitors so it doesn't take forever to finish. Well, I would at least like to see a lot more notable competitors from previous tournaments (NOTE: forgot to mention Kane and Shane Kosugi---maybe they'd do better if they got to Stage 3 since there's no more Body Prop? ) who have a standing chance of getting at least relatively far into Stage 1. And don't get me wrong, I don't to exclude great joke competitors (like Aoki, Hand Glider Man, and of course Mr. Octopus ;D ) that contribute to what Sasuke has come to be. Also, I wouldn't want to have to sit through a 6+ hour tournament because there's so many important competitors to show (I'd fall asleep before half of them even attempted Stage 1!!!) but I certainly wouldn't want it rushed. I just wish that instead, they would have something like 2 3-hour-long parts for Sasuke 24 that would broadcast like just Stage 1 for the first part and Stages 2,3, and 4 for the second part. Sorry, it's just that I imagined a tournament like this for a while and I know it would probably be rather boring to watch the entire thing all at once on TV, but it would most likely be a cool idea if you were there in person to see about 70-80 of the 100 competitors of some of the best competitors ever on the show take on the Shin-Sasuke course in Sasuke 24. Just so you know, just a pretty neat thing in my opinion...

You see that many already. For SASUKE 23, we know 74 people's results and 81 people that were there, not bad. I think 6 hours would be way too much. 4 hours for SASUKE 20 seemed to drag on and on and on. Even the coverage they gave to the 9 in SASUKE 21 seemed to drag on. While I'd love to see as many past competitors as possible, I think a 6 hour broadcast (even if it was split) would be way too much.

If the theme is All-Stars vs. New Stars vs. Americans then hopefully that's the main focus of the show.
Have some joke competitors thrown in to change up the tone and shift the pacing from time to time, but hopefully this 3-way battle is packaged as a battle of pride.

Oh heck no. That's their culture, not ours. You can't tell them to change how they do things to become more like Americans, thats not right.
That's why Ninja Warrior exists. If you want to stop watching the authentic show, watch the G4 cut ups. But don't go saying that the format all of Japan uses, as well as what TBS has been doing (And has been successful with!) for 11 years and still going needs to change.

That's not true at all, actually. The 4 hour format started with Sasuke 20, it used to be 2 hours. It's theorised that the extra length has contributed to lower ratings.

Officially, yes I think only Kanno and Urushihara are in that category. No, they counted the STQ'ers and also that Beach qualifier guy in there. Prety much all the trial guys considering kanno and Yuuji qualified aswell.

They threw them in the same graphic for Stage 2, but I don't think they actually called them New Stars. They had Takahashi and Okuyama in the All-Stars graphic as well.

Well I'm pretty sure that wasn't the all-star group, but the "heroes" group. As in... Heroes Vs. New Stars Vs. Foreignors (Because lee was grouped with the americans)
