I'm entering, JapanTV is entering, lfrt is trying.
And I'll extend the deadline. Really it's ladiback, I'm not trying to be strict here, people have lives and it's hard to fidn a good day to do it.

Why not set the deadline as June 15th or something like that. Whoever submits by then is in, whoever says they never had the time is a liar.

It was obviously a joke Rider.
Okay, I like the idea Oti, I'll try it.
ALL ENTRIES DUE BY JUNE 15TH NO EXCEPTIONS.
You've already had a good month to prepare, find a camera, train etc...
You have over a month now to find a good day to record, upload it to the computer, an send it to Sessler.
PLENTY of time.

Just a thought, would it be a good idea to add muscle ups to this contest?

I can do a few, but they're not strict. I have to use a swing.

I can do 1 using the momentum of a swing, maybe 2.
I can't do any dead hangs at all.

Ok. Just now catching up on the date change, thanks. I might still try this, dunno. Depends on how long I'm gonna stay sick, and if I actually get my butt up and out to do this.

Alright, I'm still entering. Hopefully, I'll win again haha. Like I think I said though, I'll probably be sort of last minute, just like last time, to try to get as much training in as possible. I have hardly been training at all though now with senior follies, prom, afterprom , etc. haha. About adding muscleups into the contest, my personal opinion is that probably no one here would be able to do enough of them for it to make a significant difference in the scores, unless they were maybe three or more points for each muscleup done, but that seems kind of unfair. Sorry if there are people in this contest that can do a bunch of muscleups in a row, I just feel the majority entering the contest probably can't. For the record, I can only do two muscleups in strict form, but with a swing, the most I've done in a row is five.

I've never tried them swinging. Didn't know you could do that for them.

Seriously? I can't do any if perfect form... you're a beast >_> I have finger strength, and grip strength. No upper body what so ever though.

Haha thanks. I've always been pretty good at the "dipping" part of the muscleups, so I can start that when I'm pretty close to the bar, meaning that I don't have to do so much of the "pullup" part. That helps a lot. I may get a video of it sometime, but there are people on youtube that can do like 15 muscleups in perfect form, making me feel bad but motivating me at the same time. Haha. So, I probably wouldn't for that reason, but I hope to make a new video sometime soon .

I'm pretty sure I'm not even halfway to doing one in perfect form. I'm pretty sure the muscles that you use in a muscle up are some of the weakest in my body.
I need to train whatever muscles it uses. And upper body in general.

It's not really a great mystery. It uses the muscles a pull-up uses plus the muscles a dip uses. The hard part is the transition between the two. The secret it to pull yourself up BEHIND the bar, not UNDER the bar. That way, your weight can "roll" onto your hands and the dip can begin. If you do a pull-up (with proper form) your chest should be under the bar. The worst pull-ups will have your chin level with the bar, the best will have your collarbone hitting the bar. Somehow, you have to pull up BEHIND the bar. ...If I figure it out, I'll post it for you guys.

Yeah I know what you have to do, I just can't do it xp I'm just not strong enough yet, it uses some of my weaker muscles.
