I know, it's WAY to early to talk about Kunoichi 9, especially since we do not know of ratings, let alone an announcement of a new Kunoichi. Well anyways, after watching Kunoichi 8, and while I found it pretty decent, I noticed there were quite a bit of things to tweak. So I thought why not make up my own? If you want to go ahead, but use these guidelines: 1. Either improve off of Kunoichi 8 (what would you fix, take away/add etc.) or 2. Make a mix of the new format and the traditional format we're used to. KUNOICHI 9
Stage 1: (Nine Obstacles/3 min time limit):
1. Lilypads 2. Log Jam 3. Suspended Poles 4. Wire Entanglement 5. *NEW OBSTACLE* Horizontal Net (Trampoline/Springboard to a Horizontal Net to cross a la the Swing Ladder) 6. Triple Angle Run 7. Swinging Jump 8. Raft Transfer 9. Net Wall Climb
Repechage Round:
Anyone who timeouts or fails after the Horizontal Net (failing/timing out before or at the HN does not count) gets to attempt the Repechage as a Last Chance Clear. Clearing permits you to 2nd Stage
30sec spin followed by Dreamer's Road
Stage 2: (Six Obstacles/1 min, 30 sec time limit)
1. Super Jump 2. Dancing Stones 3. Triple Hurdle (K#1-2 First Stage, K#4 Second Stage) 4. Hill Climb 5. Barrel Roll (Enchu Nori/Cylinder Walk) 6. Swinging Beams
Stage 3: (Four Obstacles/Untimed)
1. Unforgiving Wall (Angles are more parallel to the water requiring slightly more strength) 2. Peg Jump 3. Domino Hill 4. 2M High Jump
FINAL STAGE: (Three Obstacles/40 sec time limit)
1. 10M Survival Climb 2. 5M Rock Wall 3. 5M Pole Climb So how is it, plus if you want, make your own!

I like it, though the Repechage Round seems a little awkward to include...I'm oblivious to whether or not this was introduced in Kunoichi 8, but I (like most of the other people here) enjoyed the old Kunoichis (1-7) better...nevertheless, this seems like a pretty neat setup IF there is a Kunoichi 9.

I thought this tournament was ok, but I wouldn't stick with the format, I'd pick up where 7 left off by doing the following....
KUNOICHI 9!!!!
1st Stage: 95 seconds
1. Triple Step (Lilypads but three instead of five) 2. Log Jam 3. Flying Pillar 4. Tornado Run w/ more gaps 5. Double Barrel Roll (2 Barrels a transition between them) 6. Yellow Posted Hop Rocket (with large gap from top of the post to the mat) 7. Triple Angle Run 8. Escape Ladder
2nd Stage: 75 seconds
1. "Valor" Jump [wiki ob] (the super jump but with a larger gap to the mat, smalelr mat, and less angle on the ramp) 2. Dancing Stones 3. Spinning Log 4. Triple Hurdle (k#1-2 s1, k#4 s2) 5. Monkey Bars 6. Swinging Beams
3rd Stage: Untimed 1. Peg Jump 2. Shin Domino Hill (5 areas, 60 dominos, including the dancing stones esq ones) 3. Magic Wall 4. Dreamers Road (15 s)
Final Stage: 15 metres: 45 seconds 1. Moving Rock Wall (like Subduction Zone from Sasuke 1-2 s1) (5 m) 2. Net Climb (5 m) 3. Pole Climb (5 m)
So I like good ole tradional Kunoichi, that's just me ;D

I shall use my own colors then! KUNOICHI 9 First Stage 2 Minutes, 20 Seconds 1. Floating Bridge (K6) 2. Log Bridge (K8) 3. Flying Pillar (K7) 4. Wire Entanglement (Spiderwalk thingy from K8 right?) 5. Barrel Roll 6. Net Bridge (S18) 7. Swinging Jump (K8; platform is placed at the end of the swing so you don't have to go back) 8. Raft Transfer (K8) 9. Cargo Net (K8) RepechangeAfter the Net Bridge, there is a button. If you hit the button but do not pass Stage One, you will go to the Repechange. Four random people are paired up. This time there are four separate turntables and four balance beams in an X shape. The flag is at the center. Grab the flag and you move on. Second Stage 1 Minute, 10 Seconds 1. Super Jump 2. Dancing Stones 3. Hill Climb 4. Spinning Log 5. Swinging Beams Third Stage Untimed 1. Peg Jump 2. Domino Hill 3. Pendulum Bridge Final Stage 35 Seconds 1. Heavenly Climb (10m) 2. Pole Climb (5m)

Not really, Rider.
Three minutes sounds a little high to me for stage one.

The time is a bit lenient, but because of Suspended Poles (the swinging log things) and that Horizontal Net/Jump Hang ripoff, those cause the time limit to increase, plus it's not like many would get past that stage anyway, I would predict around 8 at the most (honestly) beating it. I thought Stage 1's time limit was too much, then I saw people struggle on the obstacles. Did a good majority crush the stage? Yeah, but 7 times out of 10 they were athletes that trained to withstain things like these.

Good. They should train. Victory should not come without effort.
Too high.

I wonder if I'm thinking things a bit differently. Stage 1 4 per heat; 2:30 time limit 1) Floating Hurdle 2) Spinning Logs (NEW: same as before, but spinnable) 3) Pendulum Swings 4) Bamboo Grove (竹林, takebayashi) (NEW: known to Guts fans as the Elastic Jungle) 5) Spider Cage 6) Hill Climb (NEW: same as before) 7) Swing Jump 8) Raft Transfer 9) Net Climb This should take up similar space to the K8 stage. Picture below is definitely not to scale: The first person to clear in each heat advances to Stage 2 automatically. Anyone else who gets to the end of the stage within the time moves to the Wild Card Game. Wild Card: Beach Flags. Will continue until the total number of Stage 2 participants equal 30. If less than 30 people in total cleared Stage 1, everyone advances. Stage 2: 2:00 time limit 1) Super Jump 2) Triple Hurdle 3) Dancing Stones (slight change: stone 1 is closer to the mat) 4) Angle Run (NEW: Includes a 90-degree change in direction) 5) Barrel Roll 6) Hop Rocket 7) Swinging Beam (Big change: Only the metal bar is left in and it's slightly longer than before) Stage 3: Domino Hill 1) Level 2) Incline 3) Inclined pillars After each section is a break zone (standard rules apply). There is no time limit, but only the 3 fastest runners will advance to the Final Stage (assuming more than 3 clear) Final Stage: 0:45 time limit Castle Wall: 15m (NEW: An intermediate-grade rock wall decked out to look cool) Anyone who clears wins.

I'm thinking of going back to the original format:
Stage 1: Same as Kunoichi 7, same time limit.
Stage 2: Same as Kunoichi 8 but with the trampoline Triple Hurdle, Barrel Roll replaced by 7's Monkey Bars, and the Spinning Log in place of the Board Walk. Time Limit: 80 seconds. (Basically 7's second stage plus the Triple Hurdle)
Stage 3: 1.) Peg Jump 2.) 7's Domino Hill 3.) Magic Wall 4.) 1 and 2's Final Stage with no cylindrical bumps.
Final Stage: 10 meter metal ladder 5 meter rope climb Time Limit: 30 seconds

I'd disagree. A lot of the women are strong enough to climb ropes, probably the ones that would make it to the final stage.

I also left out that the metal ladder is attached at the bottom and the top to a bungee so it bounces around a bit as you climb.

Dunno, no women attempted the Rope climb in SASUKE's stage 1, let alone the one in the final stage.
