I know this is an old thread but my 2 cents:-
i don't think takeda can beat the final stage. Why? in the tarzan ropes of 1st stages he cleared, he seemed slower than Nagano. I know he is a firefighter but Yamada Koji's speed up the rope was far more impressive than all the clips i have seen of Takeda. Arsennette is right, Akiyama's sasuke 4 speed is the quickest i have ever seen, probably faster than Nagano but that was 10 years ago, Akiyama is still fast but not as fast as he used to be.
IMHO, for the final stage, #1- Akiyama ( in sasuke 4 ) #2- Koji ( that guy has blinding speed up the rope ) #3- Nagano ( a close 3rd place )
Takeda will probably timed out 1 or 2 metres from the top. better than Kanno & Yuuji but still i don't see him doing it.

Consider how long ago that was, he's been training since then.

That's extremely impressive of Takeda especially when considering all of the things that he was doing in the short time prior to that rope climb.

Did you see the other 4? Check out the history and see Akiyama, Nagano, Yamada and Yamamoto

I think he would be very close to completing it. I think the ladder would slow him down. Then we wouldn't be able to get to the top of the tower.
