Too bad Sasuke in NOT being recorded. I'm assuming he would be a PERFECT international candidate in Sasuke 30!

Miska went to Okada's for Day 1. Then headed to Shinya's for Day 2

What is the thickness and length of the final ledge they are jumping too? It's probably the same thickness as the beginnings of the landing ledges after the jumps on both the SCH and the UCH (6 centimeters).

This was the day before Shinya's. This was recorded in Okada's house. And our very own shuhuqua was there

This is the first time I think we've seen Yuuji clear the CCH jump. I still can't help but feel he might fail it again.
The Pipe Slider, too, I'm still worried.

Nah, I saw Yuuji nail the CCH jump 5 times in a row two times during the day (I hope that makes sense haha), so he definitely has it down now. His pipe slider technique is solid too. I have to say the pipe slider definitely surprised me with its difficulty (the final jump part) and the CCH is REALLY hard as everyone knows.

I love that Miska video (the last one) outside of it being much longer, I loved the whole trip of a lifetime feel to it. theeheh Shuhuqua I'm glad you got a lot of face time on that video since you ran around with him for a good portion of the trip! You know I totally love stuff like that Ah.. I'd love to go to Japan.

In the Okada set yes that's shuhuqua (pictured below far left). Keitaro Yamamoto is the other guy in glasses on the Shinya set.

It's the both-hands-forward thing which worries me about the Pipe Slider. And the jump looks REALLY far on the real thing.

Miska did a great job . I was surprised that he did the 220 cm jump across . He should definetely apply for sasuke . I have a funny feeling that miska won't be able to clear the cch on the real course tho . He cleared it on the video but the landing was kinda awkward . Anyway ,well done to ryo for the 230 cm jump . Those 4 guys should of also did a crazy cliffhanger tournament and increased the distance hey ?

I don't think the both hands forward thing is as big an issue as people think. I found that I was most comfortable with both hands forward due to the thousands of pullups I've done with that style of grip. I don't feel a reverse grip or a mix to be beneficial especially since it can feel awkward, but to each his own.
I think Miska would do fine on the CCH in a real tournament. The reason why his landing was awkward at Okada's house was because he's much taller than the rest of us and the set was not made to accommodate that haha.

Who's that guy on the very right? Strange to say Yuuji's the only Japanese guy in the pic and this was in Japan! All of them should be in Sasuke to make it more international!

All I remember is that he's also from Finland and he came with Miska on the trip. There is another picture (most notably in the videos) of everyone else who was there including Okada (whose house this is), Tada (STQ'er) and a couple other people.

A video just got uploaded of Miska clearing a SCH with a 240cm gap. That's nearly 8 feet. Holy $#!+.
