I'm not asking anyone to bow down to their 'superhuman' skill but i simply felt they deserved some credit seeing as they got none.
In regards to the religious comment i'll use a Soccer analogy. Lionel Messi is the worlds best Soccer player; regardless of how much i train and dedicate i will never be as good as him. This is a slighlty extreme example but if i claimed Messi was only good because he trains and that if i trained similarly i would be just as good is slighlty insulting to Messi. I understand that what the FinCliffer fella is doing is within reach of anybody, and therein the difference lies, but i still feel his natural flair should not be ignored.
All i saw was a percieved lack of adulation, which i didn't like - If someone does somthing good they deserve credit. Recognition is what we all want.
If you want to be the best, you have to train to beat the best. This is why the world record squat used to be 500 lbs. Then 800, 1,000 and now over 1,200 lbs. People decided to be the best and put the work in. Natural talent will help, but think of it this way: Bruce Lee was weak, skinny and had one leg shorter than the other. We all know how much of a beast he became in only 15-ish years.
I agree, though. We ARE all awesome. Let us be friends.
