So heres a question that we'll have a few years to debate, since the release date will be pushed by to sometime in 2012, but until then...
How will G4 handle the broadcast? As you all noticed, most of the ANW guys were either FFed or cut completely, even Levi's stage 3 run was FFed.
It was also the longest Sasuke ever, and perhaps the greatest. So how will G4 do this? There is NO way in 5 30 minute episodes that they will be able to show all of the ANW runs and still cover everything that needs to be covered. TBS couldn't do it in 4 hours!
So let the speculation begin, what will our G4 broadcast be like this time?

Massive cut of the show just to show the ANW 10. They'd be out of their minds to change their way of thinking. ANW itself will be another show.. but within Sasuke they will recut the show to make sure that all their runs are shown, completely intact at the risk of destroying the rest of the program. That is a fact.

I feel the same way. They didn't bring 10 bodies over there just to eat up space in a digest. We'll probably see 9 in the first 3 episodes, then Levi, Yuuji, & Nagano in Episode 4. There will probably be alot of digested runs in Stage 2, with the focus being on King, Brian, Levi, Shingo, Yuuji, and maybe Nagano (they have digested him before I believe). Good luck seeing Kenji's complete Stage 3 run in Ninja Warrior.

I was thinking about this earlier. Does g4 get all the raw footage or just the broadcast of Sasuke?

I was thinking about this earlier. Does g4 get all the raw footage or just the broadcast of Sasuke? The broadcast is what's distributed (Which is why JET broadcasts are the same) but G4 gets the footage of their people that the Japanese broadcasts don't use (Like how G4 got Kevin and Olivia's runs in 21 (Granted Olivia's was shown in Sasuke Mania but I don't think that was available to buy to broadcast) and Olivia's 22 run)

We definitely will see all of the ANW guys runs then. Like someone else said, ANW is a mini show, so they wouldn't build up the finalists and then not show their runs. I'm glad we'll get to see full runs, not sped up or cut!

I was thinking about this earlier. Does g4 get all the raw footage or just the broadcast of Sasuke? They get the initial TBS broadcast plus whatever they ask for since they are paying for that. So anyone want to speculate how much they are going to cut to make sure they get ANW stuff including reaction shots to just about everything unimportant into THEIR Ninja Warrior? I mean as it is.. they cut about 70 minutes off the show.. considering that a good portion of ANW was cut in favor of people who did much better (Hell TBS even cut their own).. I'm curious who's going to get the axe this time in favor of ANW stuff on the Sasuke program. Anyone want to guess how much footage? I'm going with over an hour... easily..

Yeah i hear what you're saying, thats why I have the answer of "Add addtional episodes", if they made it 6 or even 7 shows instead of 5, that would solve some of that.

It would solve it but I honestly don't think they will. They complain as it is that the broadcast is long when they do a marathon.. It would be a whole lot shorter if they cut the "coming up next" and "you just saw" and all that nonsense.. but that would mean abandoning their already made formula that appeals to their core audience of 12 year olds.. sorry.. I really hate G4..

Just saw a quick TV spot when they came back from commercials toward the end of X-Play.
It had this really dramatic voice guy saying stuff like "Ninja Warrior is finally coming to America... Our nation's toughest athletes will compete... Only 10 will survive and go to Japan and face the legendary Mount Midoriyama... Who will be the first American Ninja Warrior... Coming this December..." or something like that. It just showed really quick snippets of ANW with fancy effects but not enough to make sense of anything.
Yeah.

For this poll I'm guessing options 1 and 3.

There is simply no way they can pull off 23 in 5 episodes. I think they will probably go to 6, but I would hope 7.
The 10 will have their runs shown in full. EVERY about-to-cut-to-commercial segment for at least the first three episodes will be a big buildup/preview of one of the 10.
I still think a deep third stage Shin-sasuke run is rare enough for G4 to justify showing them all in full.
There will be a ton of second stage cuts.
97.5% of my guesses will be wrong because this is G4 we're talking about.
