Personally. Those commercials were weird... Seemed like a revamp of Viking!

It looked really interesting... log swing anyone? At first when I saw 2-3 people climbing up the net at the same time I was like... wtf it's head to head? Then realized it was probably just the trials.

I think they turned it into an girls only Japanese "Wipeout."
Did you see the spinning "Dizzy Dummy" type contraption?
And why did they show steam coming up from the Final Stage?
I hate to say this, but this looks like it's going to be BAD.

Those were not trials to my knowledge.. it was a 1 day event.. so that had to be part of the same tournament..
Not sure what to expect honestly.. I was going wtf to much the whole time..

Yea, it definitely seems like the Female equivalent to Celebrity Viking, where you have multiple people in the final and whoever climbs the tower the fastest wins.

Well judging from the commercials it looks like someone cleared....again. Will Kunoichi ever be hard again? How will ratings fare? Who cleared the final stage this time? Alot of questions need to be answered.

They start as a group from the very beginning I believe. In some commercials you can see them all being introduced at the start.

Ugh, I hate that they'll have to compete against one another. They tried that in Kunoichi 6's second stage and I thought that was a horrendous decision.

Anyone got the commercial or know where it is on youtube? I want to over analyse everything frame by frame And "thirded" on the above point.

But look at it, it HAD to be trials. It had things from the Sasuke trials there, the trampoline over the pole thing was there. And why would there be a dizzy spinner thing? And head to head competition? But at the same time I saw people doing it by themselves. Fine, once 8 rolls around if I'm right I get a global apology

Well the converse is true.. why would TBS show a trials for a main show as a commercial? They don't even do that for Sasuke which is a much better show.. Trust me.. I think it's goofy if that is what we think it is.. As for Apology .. I'd love to get one from Monster 9 for totally screwing up the series if that is what they changed Kunoichi into..

Some of the people featured during the introductions were entertainers who are generally invited to the main show by Monster 9. This is true of SASUKE and KUNOICHI.
There was never any sort of hint on the internet that there was any sort of Trial to get onto the show.
Your only proof that it was a "Trial" is that the obstacles looked goofy. Even in the Trials the obstacles are generally similar in theme and style to the main show.

I never said I have any proof, just pointing out why I THOUGHT it was trials when I saw the commercial. And I said let's pray... meaning I'm hoping to god what we saw was the trials. Don't try and take away my sense of false hope.

Don't try and take away my sense of false hope. Well, I'm hoping to God that they were the trials, too (but I'm 90% sure they weren't). I'll turn it off if Maho Tanaka gets eliminated in the first stage because she "picked the wrong door to bust through."

Yes, Kunoichi is head to head. Remember the G4 person (sara something?)'s picture of the log chain swing? Did we not see 4 people on that?
Well, it wasn't like I was going to watch Kunoichi anyway.

Showing trials on a commercial? Well I personally don't think there's enough evidence to prove it was or not. I mean we only got one footage of Kunoichi 8 and that's this commercial. Maybe until we get more information, footage, etc. we shouldn't be confirming such a thing yet.
