man it's true! I knew that wall was familiar but I couldn't remember where I already saw it. So who's the bigger geek.. them for going to the same wall.. or me recognizing it almost instantly.. and providing a link.. /sigh.. P.S. I found it funny .. the second part where he's going up the wall.. then can't figure it out (like Takeda) and stops and start to curse.. then finally jumps off and gets the attack of the giggles.. LOL Omg have I been there with other things at that age

Btw.. speaking of Shinji Kobayashi. The monkey bars thing is where Shinji holds the top 3 distances. Keita holds the 4th I think.. Not sure where Ryo finished but he obviously didn't get very far. Keita has his attempt at the record on his site (actually one of the first videos he ever posted). Shinji got another top 3 distance earlier this year too... so he's still the best at that obstacle up in Nagano prefecture.

well, Ryo could have gone far...if a bar didn't pop off the thing. Watch the video again The bar didn't pop.. he fell off.. that's the natural gap from putting the 2 sections together. What he was pointing at was how far he got. The course is 100 meters. Keita went back and forth twice and fell in the start of the 3rd run for a total of 206.1m. Ryo didn't go all the way back so he was in the 150 range?

LOL Okay the first video is from the event in Gifu (Takeda's prefecture) from last year. Very few pics existed of this and Nagano hasn't updated anything on his site about it. There are some videos out there of this event (there's one where Takeda is smoking during the autograph session where people got pissed.. whatever.. he's human.. LOL) but that's the same day.
Not sure what the other one is. Looking at the background I see Nintendo University? He says it's the 順風祭 (Downwind Festival??)

Yeah I mentioned that. He has the 4th furthest record on that while Shinji has the top 3 distances.
Edited in Keita's video: (taken the exact same day) His distance was 206.1 m)
BTW.. what I found funny about that last video of the festival.. was the fact that they put a theme for him when he was going on the Cliffhanger.. LOL The other thing of note.. this was the last event where all 6 of the All-Stars were together in the same place. I know Yamada was there (not sure where he is in the video).

Yeah I mentioned that. He has the 4th furthest record on that while Shinji has the top 3 distances. So is this in japan or do they just all go there? Damn.. I should have posted it, I saw it ages ago XD In another vid, I think I either posted it before or could find it, but he wasn't in this vid that I could tell.

To my knowledge it's that course specifically? I don't know.. all I know it's the 2nd longest Monkey Bars set in the world. Not sure if the distances are from Japan only or not. Never really researched it so I really don't know.
That video of Keita has been on for a while. That was his very first video ever posted to my knowledge so it's pretty "famous" in terms of videos he posts.
I've seen Yamada in pictures of that exact event and even a couple videos of that day but I didn't see him in this video. He could have been behind the camera operator (One of the UNCLI Guys I'm sure).

I could do that if I could climb on the top of the bars and I had knee pads and lots of breaks and water and cheerleaders.
That is incredible!

No, he went to eat the heavens. You can only seen him climb for the first few seconds in the video before he enters the darkness.
