See, if he had a springboard to practice on he wouldn't have failed where he did. Well considering no one knew what the obstacles were in stage 1.. it's kinda hard to pull obstacle training out of their rear end I'm thinking you might need a win mp3 for that. Although Bada needs a Fail MP3 more Hell.. He was the first to get past the Rolling Maruta.. Getting to the Circle Slider should be seen as a great accomplishment... I'll count them as tied for Fail CS without getting to the ring (is there any other way to fail it really? Besides what G4fan did in that sim but who falls off the ring?) but if you want to be technical Nagano did a bit better for getting closer to the ring? Not just the same obstacle.. Both of them failed the same obstacle the same way! And even if it never was on the course after that they learned one thing.. Don't ever try to jump from the rope to the net I can't say anything else to this, you summed it up perfectly

Whoops, killed my other post. Obviously this part was skipped over. Tehheeheh part of the problem you are suggesting is that they practice for things they didn't know were there since 25 was supposed to a reboot. Easy to say that from 6,000 miles away and you not knowing either. Last time I checked no one here knew there was going to be a damn springboard.

Probably a bad example to use. I realize he didn't know about it. Flying Chute example wouldn't been more practical.

Probably a bad example to use. I realize he didn't know about it. Flying Chute example wouldn't been more practical. Not even the All-Stars are privy to that information. It was a renewal and they didn't know what was going to be there. I know we all want him to do better. Heck.. maybe he'll get an invite without having to deal with Trials. Given that most of their problems to this point has been GETTING to Sasuke I think he did very well. 25 was filled with a lot of surprises.. Fails we thought were not possible and passes from people we didn't exactly expect. I think the element of surprise really messed with a lot of people's heads.. because when you look at it on paper you thought more people would have passed but I think the utter surprise of seeing a lot of old obstacles in different placements and even redesigned (Dome steps took out a lot because they expected it to be the same as before) than they have been before really threw them for a loop. I'm sure if it stays that way 26 will be a bloodbath for the 1st stage. I think M9 knows that and we'll see something completely different. In which case we are back to square one.. because then they don't know what to train for.. again

I would love to see them bring back the old Stage 1 from Sasuke 2 for the next Sasuke. Just to completely mess with everyone's heads. Spring Renewal becomes Fall Regression!!

A snippet from the much larger video that I put in the Sasuke 25 forums (since it had more Sasuke competitors doing the UCH and this).

Good to see him training on this after his epic fail on the Circle Slider in 25. I really want to see him finally beat Stage 1 and show what he can do in the later stages! Third time competing is the charm!

Ryo's double one-armed catch at around 0:21 is one of the most impressive displays of athleticism I've seen in a while. You can tell he's training really hard.

I just lol'ed to death. Yuuji trolling, the UCH Derby, and then Kong!
BTW, who was the guy that totally died after the last guy failed? Was it Keitaro?

ROFLMAO at Yuuji acting BAKA...that was hysterical. Btw I'm pretty sure around 1:20 he tripped and almost fell LOL. OH and Ryo managed to impress me again. Poor Shinya being the Combo Breaker...oh and hello Kongu!

Keitaro was wearing a black shirt and starting rolling on the mattress on the ground. Black UNCLI shirt was Keita (#4), Shirtless with black pants is Nomura, Kid with flaming red hair is of course Ryo Everyone knows what Kongo looks like, not entirely sure who the shirtless guy with red pants is.. it at first reminded me of Shinya but I don't think it was him. Looks like Yuuji was there for the 1st day but the Ryo's red shirt marked the 2nd day.. maybe Yuuji was filming the second video while Keita filmed the first?

If you pause around 2:43 it looks like Shinya, I may be wrong though but I doubt it.

The only reason i'd say it's not shinya is that he seemed to struggle with it.
