actually I have 51.. how .. ooooooh 10 of them are from ANW (-1 since Ryk blew his cover) and the other 6 (-1 since we know Ryoma) are from Sasuke Trials.

There could be more than that because we don't know if both members of some of the comedy duos (Savanna, TKO) participated and how many members of Shinsengumi Rien participated (there are five of them I believe).

If the Muscle Musical people were there also, that would puts the number of completely unknown competitors at less than half of the field.

True. Sometimes they do just one.. and sometimes not.. hard to say so good guess on at least one (I think I have it as 1 per duo).

Oh I didn't even bother adding MM to the list.. the only one I do know would be going would be Naoki but even he didn't blog about it. Even with that pic we have of them dancing all around the first obstacle we still don't know which ones are confirmed from going.. I should just have "MM a crapload of people but not as many as before because they split the troupe "

That -1 is mysterious... Am I missing something? Are there only 9 ANW winners attending?

The confirmed list is 10 (9 annonomous but 1 blew his cover that's why -1 since he put it on the list).

Same with Sasuke Trials.. 6 total but 1 blew his cover (and is on his list) so -1 on there too. That's why my count is higher than his on my competitor list.

Any news of Akiyama? I was doubtful of Bunpei from the beginning, but they showed the rest of the All-Stars in the trailer, gives me the impression he wasn't there.

There's a rumor I can't substantiate with a link anywhere (hard to explain) but it points to him being there. For now it's just rumor unlike Bunpei where there is no mention of him at all...

As for Akiyama not being in the trailer so far.. he hasn't been in a trailer for a long time. They finally showed him in Navi but never in any commercials.

I put links on my blog (no I'm not doing your homework for you) showing the online verification. I don't post heresay as best as possible. I try to provide blog links so people can see for themselves. I haven't seen anything written outside of heresay as to who else was on that list from ANW.

Well that blog is huge with long articles and enough pictures to slow down my browser (and thats a bad sign when me of all people gets overloaded with pics XD).

And from what I've heard in the forums here people who were at ANW didn't see him there.
And also apparently Brian confirmed on some blog of his that he made it to 23.

September 14th when 23 was being filmed

Although this doesn't seem like it's that much of a shocker really, he came back for 20 which showed he still had interest in competing.
Although I wouldn't be surprised if he fails the Soritatsu Kabe or sooner, he always had problems with it (besides failing it in 20), remember how in 8 he almost failed because he took so long on it? And even then technically he cleared with 0.00 so that's one hell of a good human to system timing to still clear like that.
