No that's not why they are getting lower ratings.. The show is 11 years old and TBS keeps putting it up against the most popular television show in Japan in the same timeslot...

yeah TBS is thinking that and thats why they're getting lower ratings Why feature two guys that didn't do anything (as far as we know) over a) famous people (the Olympians, the comedians) that get casual and new viewers to watch and b) known commodities that appeal to the long term fan-base (the All-Stars)? And I've said it before, the four hour program isn't a good idea. It's just fan service at a time when they need new viewers.

How else could they broadcast it? In the G4 way that everyone keeps bitching about how awful it is?
I love Sasuke, but it just isn't as TV friendly as you could hope for. Putting it up against other popular shows doesn't help, but still.

Maybe they should PICK A BETTER TIMESLOT.
Fo realz...
They must not be worried since they keep making the same mistake, lol, I guess either
A. they arn't thinking straight
B. They don't care abou Sasuke
or
C. They are content/happy with the ratings they are currently getting.

If they didn't care about Sasuke, they would stop production and that would be that. Having said that, things aren't loking good and I wouldn't be surprised if it finished in the next 1-2 years with a final "all-stars' special.

Just because you don't care about something doesn't mean you are going to stop production immediately.
if people are still watching, they'll still show it, but if the ratings dip to low then it's done.
It's not like Sasuke all Monster 9 has. They've had a ton in the past, from Muscle Ranking, to Takahashi's Castle, don't forget the Muscle Musical.
After these years they may have gotten tired of it, and since the ratings are lowering they may decide to drop it soon.
That's all I was saying.

Let's leave that discussion to the ratings thread. This thread should strictly be about the Sasuke 21 competitors.

Unfortunately not. We don't even have evidence that he was there at all.

One thing I can confirm finally is that Lance never made it to Sasuke 21. So we can take that speculation out as to what number he was.

Even though we all thought he'd be there - that's too bad.

Was he replaced then? Or was there just a number that wasn't used?

Well, I guess we can forget about Okuyama or Washimi being there after all. G4 had no sign of them, either. That's too bad.

That doesn't confirm anything I still believe they were there. They may have had some controversy in their runs though. Why else would they skip 95? Who ELSE would 85 have been? It had had to be either one of them. Arsenette, did your buddy remember Washimi being there?

I am going to try to find out if I can.. but it's going to be tough. She doesn't remember everyone and now it's been 2 months. While everything was fresh in her mind she gave me what she could. Trying to digest 18 hours of fandom into specifics is really hard LOL

ramblingrican.blogspot.com/2008/11/sasuke-21-full-competitors-list.htmlOkie dokie this is an updated list. I still have to finish getting the kanji transfered (er.. I don't have a keyboard that can do it so I'll have to have someone do it for me...).. so it will take me a bit to update the list. Either way .. yes.. it is confirmed that Okuyama and Washimi were definitely there.

Why are there two #33s in 21? And about a couple of names, is the one listed as That guy from 19 who fell off the jumping spider onto the trampoline and tried again and made it to the halfpipe attack? if so I think the name you put in is the name of the show hes on. And is That Adachi Yuta guy from 17? And how do you know ohw all these people skipped by TBS were there anyways? And you can find that out but you can't find how they did? And I'm trying really hard not to correct you on calling Takahashi Mitsuomi a Power Ranger. Gougou Sentai Boukenger: Bouken Red Power Rangers Operation Overdrive: Red Ranger There is a difference.
