Ah cool he's going I was wondering about that. And yeah.. you found other places that had 3 pm their time as well. Definitely have to wait on that. I'm at least mentioning it for the newer people to know that the same night they have another show they can watch. Serious fangirling for me when I watch it

It depends on your location.
Sasuke 23 NAVI: Pacific Time: 10pm 9/26 Mountain Time: 11am 9/27 Central Time: 12am 9/27 Eastern Time: 1am 9/27
Sasuke 23: Pacific Time: 3am 9/27 Mountain Time: 4am 9/27 Central Time: 5am 9/27 Eastern Time: 6am 9/27

Same thing as everybody else, both events are only 3 hours apart (most of that gap in time will be spent watching NAVI anyway) so it's easily an all nighter. Easy for me to say since I always stay up till 3 lol.

Actually there is some conjecture as to the time in Japan. Ube and I are finding links that post 2 pm JST and 3 pm JST. That's why we are not sure when it actually is. At least we have a general idea as to when but when we finally get confirmation as to ACTUAL time we will post in here and in our blogs. Right now it's "tentative" and the TBS schedule has not come out in their website yet for the 27th.

I have always found it quite odd that TBS wouldn't let its viewers know when a big program like this comes out until the last minute. You'd think they would be hyping this for months so as to generate more interest and viewers. I mean really....two weeks before the show airs and no air date determined yet? And they wonder why ratings have dropped for years now.

It's actually not a big show when I read more about it. It's just a filler variety show between Drama seasons. THOSE they advertise what seems to be a couple months in advance. As for Sasuke Navi - that's a filler of a filler show I still love it though but it's not so big in Japan as one would think.

The TV stations don't expect high ratings or anything like that out of the between drama season specials. To get in the 20s and whatnot is a bonus during this period but it recent years, it doesn't seem to be expected.
SASUKE/KUNOICHI/Sportsman No. 1 are more comfort shows, something that people can rely on without needing too much information and just enjoy, than something that TBS relies on to bring in money.

It makes sense that they wouldn't know when to air it until it films, since the length of the program can vary wildly.
If we have another Sasuke 19, two hours is plenty. If we have 15 people in the Third Stage with a big showing of 4 Americans, 4 All-Stars, 4 STQ-UNCLI, and 3 new guys, they could need more time for the storyline.
If it needs to be four hours, they might need to move up the start time an hour.

I think you are confusing this.. Sasuke 23 time is set.. it's the 1 hour preview we are discussing.. not the tournament itself..

Right now it's where they are placing the 1 hour preview. It's either 2pm Japan time.. or 3 pm. Not all markets have this (definately Kanto Region where Tokyo is and ultimately where the feeds usually come from) so just wondering how early I need to get up from napping to see this In the past, Navi has been a cool look into the competitors. I've blogged 2 of them if you were not sure what this show was.

After #17 (especially 20-22), they just waste so much time on trivial matters where they don't need to. It makes it drag on forever.

Okie dokie. The official Sasuke site - sasukemania.com/index_1.html Confirmed the 2pm Start time (local) for Sasuke Navi. 14:00-14:54 JST - September 27th Okay.. so that's 2PM JST.. that's 1 AM Eastern (Sunday Morning). 10 PM Pacific (Saturday night) Going to add that to my blog now. Spread the word! Everyone should see this. I expect Sasuke Trials to be here (maybe a glimpse of ANW), Makoto Nagano's baby birth Announcement and massive fluff for him among other things. The show is 54 minutes.
