whens the broadcast going to be online? Members of the forums should know by now the answer to that question.. for those who don't know please PM a moderator to be pointed in the right direction Thanks. And yes.. last night was on HELL of a night.. Everything that could go wrong did.. but at least some people were able to watch it (those who paid for WIST) and Jason for providing his feed and Chris being able to get his computer to stream it. Thanks for Nova for trying desperately to get it to work on his and still providing the KeyHole stream for others who didn't have any other choice. I'm very happy the community did they best to stay together and work things out as best they could. Just horrible so many people fell through the cracks due to the limitations of free technology.

On the plus side we had both rooms at full capacity (50) adn the third room even had some people in it... not to mention the ones simply watching it on keyhole. In total that's about 120!!
Last year we barely had 30.

That's cool. I wonder how many people were on TVAnts the last time though, and how many people were on Livestation the one before it.

To be honest there was a lot more organization (or at least attempt) the weeks leading up to Sasuke. So for that I give major kudos to everyone in the community who did their best to stay on top of it. Even when the crap hit the fan.. they really did try to stay together and did!

I'm just amazed how fast our live community has grown. It started out at Sasuke 20 (though I didn't see that one due to being out of town) where everyone just watched it on keyhole, then we moved onto Livestation and generated a few new faces, but it was really the first organized time we all saw it. Then 22 the word was spread to more members of the forums and such. And now for 23 it was spread to the forums, facebook, and actual competitors of the show. I wouldn't be surprised if more than 200 watched it live TBH, and even for the ones who didn't watch it live a lot will be seeing the recording. So now a majority of our Sasuke family/community knows what an original broadcast is like.

Maybe we can get a set-up next time so that 5 people can stream the way Jason had me doing it last time, and we can get up to 250 people able to watch it live. Heck, even help assign who needs to go to what stream so we can ensure they have a 'seat'. Arsenette can charge for tickets and popcorn (Just kidding) But still, I never would have guessed that the little LiveStream site would have filled up this morning. I figured we wouldn't even go over 30 or so.

Actually Jason's output went through the roof.. the whole time we were going "omg don't crash omg don't crash".. In fact during Navi we seriously thought it was going to die.. that's why HE (not we.. I didn't do jack) changed things around for the broadcast.. and it worked..
Praying we don't have to do that again though.. At least if people liked the idea of the chatroom via watching at the same time something can be done where someone streams whatever program that day and chatrooms can fill up one at a time with different hosts.
Don't think many people will watch Kunoichi but we do have a week to set that up.

With no one hour special it seems and the broadcast being an hour later, I can resume my normal sleeping pattern and just wake up an hour earlier for it!

I know there were more than 100 challengers in 23, just like in SASUKE 4, SASUKE 18, SASUKE 21, and SASUKE 22.

Prior to you, the last post was made in 2009. This is 2010. We are officially in the 2010s now. You just bumped a post from last decade and you don't realize it... Plus, this is how to watch Sasuke 23, why did you bump to talk about how many competitors. Oy vey...

Iams, I am so glad you told us how to watch live by informing us that there were more than 100 there.
Congrats on buying yourself a 22% warning increase.
