Thanks, man. By the way, IT'S HOT HERE!!!!!! So, when you come, be very very very hydrated and bring a lot of water. Also, clothes that's help with the heat will be helpful. We're having a slight heat wave right now. California weather is the best!!!

Wow, awesome job man! Sorry to hear about the security escorting you to your car though, that's never fun.
So here's what I'm thinking for each obstacle:
1- I'm not sure if that rope in the middle is part of the obstacle (similar to the Tarzan jump) or just for help while building.
2- American Gladiators thing that we knew about. I wonder if it's going to be stationary (probably not), spin constantly, or be loose.
3- Spider walk
4- It looks like there's ground underneath the scaffolding, so I'm really not sure what this could be...
5- This is not the warped wall, this has to be the crooked wall. That's what I'm betting on at least.
After this they're still putting everything together, so it's hard to tell. I think after the crooked wall will be the curtain cling. I'm wondering how they'll separate they're "stages" if the final obstacle to the buzzer is that American Gladiators cargo net. lol

I'll do my best to be there Saturday early early morning and take some better pictures, 'cause these weren't that great. But at least I won't have security on my back. ;D

We aren't too far away but we just couldn't fit it into the schedule for this weekend...bad timing. Wish we could be there to take pictures for everyone and cheer everyone on...maybe next time if they have another one, but we'll be rooting for you all this weekend!

And I think that's just a taller Soritatsu Kabe and it looksed angled because of the angle, I mean look at how there are paths and paths that go down after it

It looks like that the 4th obstacle is pole maze... I would be surprised if my guess is correct

Ok! Ryan, Brian (BaronBK) and I checked out the course... and man, has it developed!
Here are the obstacles we were able to figure out:
1.) Sextuple Step (The walls are very high overall, and are steeper than 45 degrees)
2.) Rope Swing (Of some kind... just a very tall metal platform with a black rope hanging from it. Doesn't seem wide enough for a Circle Hammer though.)
3.) Turning Barrel (We've all seen that, but Brian noticed that there is a step down onto it, instead of it being flush with the platform, which might cause issues.)
4.) Spider Walk (Seriously doesn't look like a jumping spider, and goes straight across, so falling into the water won't be very high up. There is a hole below so people can spot you falling through though.)
5.) Slider Jump (A big surprise! It seems to be a smaller Slider Jump, but still has 2 drops (3 varying heights) but no rope wall at the end, so dunno if theres just a gap afterward or what.)
6.) Warped Wall (It seems a bit higher than what was shown in Santa Monica, but dunno really without a measuring tape... Nonetheless, there is no overhang (as you saw from the picture), so i dunno how that'll change how people climb it.)
7.)Curtain Cling (Instead of being one sheet, the way it was blowing in the wind showed 4 separate blood red sheets. Dunno if they are meant to be separate though, we'll see tomorrow if they are connected.)
8.) Jumping Bars (Yes, it's there! A total of 4 bars at a downward slope, but being how this is further in the course, it might not be run until after the Open Tryouts.)
9.) Rope Wall Climb (A huge rope climb at the very end, as you'd expect from the official Sasuke course. But it's high! Even in person! Dunno if there will be an obstacle that connects to it, but seeing how we only spotted 9 obstacles, they might be counting something that swings into it first. But we dunno.)

Seems like a badass course, Turning Barrel might take down a few guys, Slider Jump will definitely, can't wait to see it in action.
EDIT: You don't know how long I waited to refresh lol.

That sounds very promising and very fun!
No trampolines though?!?! There HAS to be one somewhere! Maybe one into the Slider Jump? Or into the Jumping Bars?
Maybe with the Curtain Cling, they're trying to do the Curtain Swing instead with the 4 curtains.
Rope Wall Climb sounds like the one in the earlier Sasuke tournaments at the end of the 1st stage. Pretty cool.

They said the first trials would only be the first 6 obstacles, right? Makes sense.
EDIT: Seems like the net at the end will be a big deciding factor in the last round since it's so large, and it can be tricky to climb fast if you're in a hurry.

Like it is on SASUKE, but since the holes it the net seem to be smaller will that mean faster potential climb?

Yea looks sorta like that but closer together, maybe that is what they are going for. Just got off the phone with Ruselis, aka Blackiechan. He's rolling with Levi but will be around tomorrow for some of the runs even though theirs are on Sunday. Looks like a fun course, still no clue about judges. There is a finish button at the top of the Warped Wall so I guess its safe to say that the open try outs end there and the rest will come into play Monday and Tuesday. Bloods a pumping baby yea!!!!!
