Wait, why even mention me in the blog post? I only said that it was weird that they weren't using the KUNOICHI name. It was the people after me who were expressing concern that it was something else.

I can take that out. "p Just that a bunch of people said "Ube said so and it has to be that way since he knows about Sasuke and stuff "

It just looked weird because I know I only pointed out that they weren't using the KUNOICHI name and then people started jumping to conclusions...

No worries I took out your name and put People.. because it was after all everyone else that jumped at it. I figure though that until they change that website it's still Kunoichi. They might overhaul it like they did with Sasuke 18. I for one am excited

It would be (to me anyway) the third overhaul in as many competitions, and I don't mean just obstacles. Kunoichi has pretty much become its own entity, sharing only the basics with Sasuke (and the All-Stars as a B-plot). At least to me, Kunoichi has more loose, fun atmosphere than the srs bsns of Sasuke, and I would wholeheartedly encourage M9 to keep going in the direction it was going.

Wow that's earlier than expected. One major positive.. G4 won't be doing a big huge production on it.. which is fabulous if you ask me

An observant member of the G4 programming staff (note the qualifier) might want to combine ANW, Sasuke, and Kunoichi coverage into one sweeps event.

Knowing G4 though.. the temptation to make it into a jello contest and throw it on that "girls" show would be too high.. Honestly I doubt they would actually do anything that's worth my time watching when it involves Kunoichi..

Has anyone gotten a response if the date is still the same from September.. what was.. it.. 2nd that Nagano said? I wonder if any of the female ANW competitors will be sent there.. if so.. they would have to change the date to accommodate them. Anyone want to shoot an email to see if that's going to happen? I don't want to overwhelm them.. it's always me sending emails

Have we heard anything from anyone about it? Besides the announcement, I haven't heard anything about it, and if it is the 2nd, shouldn't we have heard something else?

I talked to a couple people about it (not M9) and they figure this is actually quite normal. IT's more of an invite tournament rather than "zomg sign up" like Sasuke is. That said.. I am surprised there's almost no fanfare for it at all.

It's probably also cheaper to produce, since most of the cast won't be (appearance fee-mongering?) talento
