No it's the guy that's broke and can't afford a plane ticket heh! But I think he's trying to find a way to swing it? Here's his ANC4 video, doesn't really show off his skills as good as previous ones.
One thing that really impressed me in his ANC2 video was when he ran down a hallway without touching the ground or putting his hands on the walls.
Edit: oh just found his other vids: ANC2: ANC3:

Yeah he's actually one of the few that had serious money problems (hell I understand.. I'm in that boat too ). Maybe at least if this thing works this year people would know to save up specifically for it the next time the way they do in Japan. This just really came out of the blue and quite frankly I feel a few people that should have gone won't be able to. Which is a shame. Hope he gets a chance at least.

Most of the guys who put out vids show impresive arm and upper body strength. I have no doubt that many of them could do well on stage 3. But the new stage 1 is all about speed, agility, endurance, and knowing the correct technique to beat each obstacle. Look at the 5 guys who passed stage 1 in #22- none of them are that muscular or strong compared to what I've seen in these vids. But they have the speed, agility, endurance, and correct technique (and some luck) to do well. I hope that the G4 course focuses on these aspects because strength alone will not cut it.

From what I understand, to get into the finals you not only have to clear the course but get a good time.

Hi, I'm Steve Volcko. I found this forum from my youtube data and statistics. I can't believe I never found it before!
To answer your questions, my video was intended to be funny in hopes of catching some attention from the G4 producers. Fortunately, it worked and I will be trying out in LA on Saturday.
Thank you, David for finding and posting my video here. You are one of my heroes so that means a lot to me. Your submission was awesome, btw. AND... I'm sure you know this, but you probably would've been standing at the top of Mt. Midoryama had you not run out of time on stage 1. I sincerely hope you get your revenge this season because I know you can do it.
Thanks for being supportive unclesam. I'm incredibly anxious/excited to compete and can only go and do my best at this point. I'll comb through the rest of this forum, but if anyone has any specific advice for a newcomer, I could sure use some.
Sorry if this post is longer than most, but this is my first one. Anyway, I hope to see and meet all of you in LA!

Hey Steve! Welcome to the boards! Feel free to look around. Right now, there isn't much on Sasuke 23, but there will be more in the future. Other than that, there are tons of info about a lot here and on the wiki found here: sasukepedia.wikia.com Best of luck to you in LA!

Thanks a lot steve! I'll see you out in LA, and good luck! My only advice is to bring some shoes that grip well on smooth surfaces.
