So what were some of your first impressions of Sasuke?
Here's some question to answer. (I'll put my answers under them aswell)
1. How'd you hear about it?
My broter saw it on T.V. one time and called me into the room, I was instantly hooked.
2. What was the first tournament you saw? I'm not entirely sure, I think it was the one where the balance bridge was like in little sections and it was only in there for one tournament... I don't remember the name of it though. it had Hibari Goku, Iketani, and Yamada in that tournament. (I think)
3. Who were you favorite competitors?
My first favorite competitor was Naoki Iketani after he beat stage one. He was the first person I ever saw that completed the first stage. I liked Daisuke from the start because I love that name and that's what I thought Iketani's name was at first XD After a few episodes I recognized Shingo Yamamoto with his gas station uniform and he was instantly me and my brothers favorite. A few days after that we recognized Yamada. Weeks later we started recognizing Toshihiro Takeda, then Nagano, and like months later we finally knew who bunpei was. (Sorry!)
4. What were your instantly favorite obstacles?
I loved the sextuple steps when I first saw them, and the body prop I saw on my 2nd episode and fell in love with that obstacle.
5. Which stage looked the hardest?
Honestly it took me awhile before I even saw the final stage, and when I did I was dissapointed and thought te 3rd stage was tougher. Of course now I know I was just being silly =D
6. What obstacles did you think were hard and which ones did you think were easy?
I actually though a lot of the obstacles were easy! Of course I was wrong, I thought I could do the cliff-hanger and when I tried and failed miserably I felt stupid.
7. Did you ever say "I bet I could do that!" (Be honest =p)
Hell yeah ;]

1. How'd you hear about it? I found out about it by accident. Last summer, I was bored one afternoon and I started flipping through the channels. I then came across G4, a channel I watched a lot in it's first years but then started to drift away from when the channel changed. Anyway, they were showing a Ninja Warrior marathon and I said to myself, "What is this Ninja Warrior, and why do they keep playing it?" I turned it on and the rest was history. It reminded me of the obstacle course/sports shows I used to love to watch on Nickelodeon, only bigger and better.
2. What was the first tournament you saw? I think the first tournament I saw was Sasuke 8, although I'm not entirely sure.
3. Who were you favorite competitors? Probably Kane and Jordan since they went the farthest. I remember watching this episode with my brother and those two are still his favorite competitors.
4. What were your instantly favorite obstacles? The Rolling Log and Jump Hang because of the fantastic wipeouts they had.
5. Which stage looked the hardest? Definitely the Final Stage. It was raining in that tournament and I thought that was the hardest thing ever.
6. What obstacles did you think were hard and which ones did you think were easy? Most of the course actually. Most of the 1st Stage looked easy, the 2nd Stage was a breeze, the 3rd Stage was a little hard, while the Final Stage was impossible.
7. Did you ever say "I bet I could do that!" (Be honest =p) O yea, definitely.

1. How'd you hear about it?
When I asked one of my mates about the amount of weight he had lost he replied "i'm training to go on ninja warrior you should check it out" I watched a double bill on challange (the channel that shows ninja warrior in the uk) I thought it was amazing instantly.
2. What was the first tournament you saw?
It was definatly 15 because I remember Bunpei Shiratori having heat exhuastion in the recap.I also remember seeing stage two and three before I saw a stage 1.
3. Who were you favorite competitors?
I instantly warmed to Shingo Yamamoto because he seemed like a down to earth guy and Bunpei because of what he went through he went in that tournement.
4. What were your instantly favorite obstacles?
Spider walk without a doubt. I remember I was like they have to do what !! Though it sounds stupid now at the time I was like thats impossible. I remember being amazed by the jumping bars as well.
5. Which stage looked the hardest?
The first time I saw it stage three naturally
6. What obstacles did you think were hard and which ones did you think were easy?
I thought spider walk and wall lift in stage two. Cliff Hanger and jumping bars in stage three were the hardest. I thought chain reaction and curtain cling were easy obviously that view has changed as well.
7.Did you ever say "I bet I could do that!" (Be honest =p)
I didn't think i could do it but as soon as I saw it I wanted to try it

1. How'd you here about it? Well, I had recently started watching G4, and one day I came home and started watching it. Then it came on and it caught my attention, now I'm OCD on it. 2. What was the first tournament you saw? The first tournament I saw was 11, I remember seeing the Globe Grasp and loving that obstacle, I also remember the Tarzan Jump and Balance Bridge, I remember that Nagano got to the final stage as well. 3. Who were your favorite competitors? I liked Nagano, because he was a hero in that tournament, and I liked Takeda, because he just seemed like one of the guys in the background. (Bunpei had started competing but I had really known what to expect from him yet.) 4. What were your instantly favorite obstacles I was in love with the Globe Grasp, I still love that obstacle to day, it seemed like a purple glowing form of globe monkey mars. I liked the design of the jump hang, and how some of the people wiped out 5. Which stage looked the hardest? Stage 3 looked the hardest to me, the obstacles were all very formidable in that tournament, though it's obvious the final stage is the hardest. 6. What obstacles did you think where easy, and which did you think were hard? Back then I thought everything in stage 1+2 was easy. 7. Did you every say "I bet I could do that!" (Be honest =p) When I first saw it, I discussed it with a friend, and while I thought it was harder to do than he was thinking, I thought I could be the whole course, I think that is pretty much everybody's first impression (for the fact that the competitors like Nagano make the course look so easy)

1. How'd you hear about it?
Flipping through channels. It must've just been broadcast for the first time on G4 a little while before I started watching, because I started watching in March and I think it was first broadcast in February.
2. What was the first tournament you saw?
I first saw the end of 17 where Nagano won. Then, I wound up catching a rerun of it later and was instantly hooked.
3. Who were your favorite competitors?
First, it was Nagano of course, since I first saw him defeat the course. Then, it was Takeda, because he seemed to be a heroic person. Then, it was Yamamoto, because he seemed to be a dedicated, down-to-earth person.
4. What were your instantly favorite obstacles?
Cliffhanger, Jump Hang, Pipe Slider. In fact, I tried the cliffhanger on my I-beam in my basement shortly after seeing it.
5. Which stage looked the hardest?
The final stage.
6. What obstacles did you think were hard and which ones did you think were easy?
I thought that the Spider Walk and Body Prop were incredibly hard. But, I thought that the Cliffhanger and Jump Hang were easy. Obviously, my views have changed now.
7. Did you ever say "I bet I could do that!" (Be honest =p)
Yea, I tried the cliffhanger on my I-beam and failed miserably. Then, later I learned that the cliffhanger ledges were even smaller and I felt worse.

1. How'd you hear about it? My dad was watching it once, I was interested and started watching it every day.
2. What was the first tournament you saw? I think it was 9 or 10. I remember the first Sasuke I saw was the third stage, and no one completed it, but it was the obstacles from that period, so it must have been one of those two.
3. Who were you favorite competitors? I don't really remember much about my first stint at watching Sasuke. I got bored of it after a while, then a few months later I came back and discovered all the wonders of Youtube, and became a diehard fan. I think Yamamoto was my favourite initially. Honestly, the only competitor I remembered when I started watching it again was Nagano, lol.
4. What were your instantly favorite obstacles? Globe Grasp and Cliff Hanger, I think these were the first obstacles I ever saw, and I was amazed at how hard they were.
5. Which stage looked the hardest? Third stage.
6. What obstacles did you think were hard and which ones did you think were easy? I don't really remember. Obviously everything in the third stage was hard, but the first stage changed a lot so I'm not sure what I thought was easy.
7. Did you ever say "I bet I could do that!" (Be honest =p) Nope. I'm pretty unfit.

1. How'd you hear about it? Through those endless commercials of it that G4 used to run. I think I first heard of it the summer before 19.
2. What was the first tournament you saw? I believe it was 4. I had the show on because nothing else was on. I remember kinda absentmindedly watching and then seeing Travis Schraeder getting all the way to the Pipe Slider, having it come off, and his being disqualified. I immediately started cursing out my tv over that one.
3. Who were your favorite competitors? Shingo Yamamoto immediately stood out for me when I started watching regularly. I don't know why, but I liked the idea of a guy who would compete in his work uniform. Ditto for Takeda.
4. What were your instantly favorite obstacles? Jump hang all the way. I immediately wanted to try that one out.
5. Which stage looked the hardest? The third. While the Final is probably harder, climbing a rope looked a lot easier than what the third was doing to your arms.
6.What obstacles did you think were hard and which ones did you think were easy? The Cliff Hanger, Rumbling Dice, and Pipe Slider all looked hard, but in a good way, a "I wanna try that one" way. The Rapid Descent and Hammer Dodge looked too easy for what the producers were going for.
7. Did you ever say "I bet I could do that!" (Be honest =p) Once. Then the weed worked its way out of my system.

2. Mine was Sasuke 16
3. I instanly had a new man-hero and he was Makoto Nagano. I just plain liked the guy.
4. Spiderwalk and the Body prop
5. 3rd. Although the individual tasks may seem moderate in difficulty, the fact that they stack up is the killer.
6. The hard ones must have been the Spiderwalk, Jump hang, and Chain reaction
7. I did, then I decided to do it.

1. How'd you hear about it?
I've watched G4 for xplay and AOTS for years now and I saw their commercials for their newest Midnight Spank show, Ninja Warrior in October 2006.
2. What was the first tournament you saw?
15 because that was the first one G4 showed.
3. Who were you favorite competitors?
Nagano because I saw Viking before hand and I recognized him. I also liked Shingo becuase of his uniform.
4. What were your instantly favorite obstacles?
Spider Walk. When I first saw it, I was like, Holy $***.
5. Which stage looked the hardest?
Three, because of the devil swing.
6. What obstacles did you think were hard and which ones did you think were easy?
I originally thought the cliffhanger was easier than others (for stage three), but my hard picks would be metal spin, warped wall, jump hang, devil's swing, and pipe slider.
7. Did you ever say "I bet I could do that!" (Be honest =p)
No. But I did say that I want to try that.
