How many new obstacles do people think there will be? I say... 1 or 2 in Stage 1 1 in Stage 2(if any) 0 in Stage 3 0 in Final Stage
Btw, what is the Final Stage?

No one knows for sure what the Final Stage is. I'll say. 0 in Stage 1 1 in Stage 2 0 in Stage 3

Final stage is that big looming tower.. the last time anyone got to it (Nagano in Sasuke 17) .. it was a spider wall thing + rope to the top. Since then no one has gotten to it so speculation has run rampant for 2 years.

I think a possible new obstacle is...the Sky Walk!

Maybe 1 new obstacle in stage 2. That'll probably be the only real change for the course (the ongoing debate over the Pole Maze notwithstanding).

I wish they would have changed something in the first stage. Atleast could have gotten rid of the pole maze.

They didn't change any of the obstacles, but as always, there were slight changes.

I think there will be slight changes for all three stages, especially the last one, make the final ring glide, this is not the pipe slider.

I think there will be slight chances for all three stages, especially the last one, make the final ring glide, this is not the pipe slider. It's also not the Circle Slider

But I suspected you had to hop for it. Although I kind of had the feeling eventually all the gaps in the Salmon Ladder would be the same, I didn't expect a redesigned bar though.

Although I kind of had the feeling eventually all the gaps in the Salmon Ladder would be the same ... They're not. The gaps haven't changed, as far as I could tell. There's still a bigger one at the top.

Compare the 21 Salmon Ladder, then look at the one from 18,19 and 20.

I don't know, when i looked at the pipe slider the last gap DID look shortened, maybe just a little, but it didn't seem HUGE like it was before.. probably like an inch taken off or something, pretty minimal so you can't really tell.
Obviously I have no confirmation, just what it looked like to me.
Comparison pics!!!
Btw, no new obstacles, hah hah, Pipe Slider and Swing ladder both stayed =p
I feel like 22 while have about 3 or 4 new ones though.

By the way, I hope I'm not the only one who noticed this, but they fixed the log grip.
At the start there is a tiny drop to start it moving forward so you don't pull a Levi and almsot make it start going without you, or accidently gain too much speed.
(Although it happend to Mark)
i guess when you put a certain amount of weight on it, it drops and then starts, so whenever you lift your legs it's go time!

About that gap at the end of the Gliding Ring, according to the announcer, the gap between the Ring and the platform is 1 meter, while the distance from the Pipe Slider to the pad, when it was the furthest, was 1.7 meters...substantially farther.
I'm not sure whether I completely believe it, but both were stated in the Japanese wiki.
