I lurve you!
That's a bummer about some of the other regulars, though. I hope they didn't lose their spots because of all the new stuff Monster9 and G4 came up with. Maybe it's a one off thing and they'll be back next time.

Good to see Takahashi is still doing this!
What about any Kunoichi alumni?

I'm changing my predictions after seeing Sasuke Navi...
These 5 guys will make it to stage 3: Nagano, Takeda, Levi M, Takahashi, and Brian Orosco. Nagano will pass the Cliff hanger but fail the Ascending Climb. Noone to final stage but I hope I'm wrong. I'd like to say Mark Witmer makes it as well but it's his first time and not many competitors do well on their first time out. I think maybe a couple of other guys may make it past stage 1 but not the Salmon Ladder. We'll see....

No! They just started showing Shinji again! He can't leave! XD
I truely hope Okuyama competes agian, I see no reason why he wouldn't.
And it's not likely, but I'm hopin Koji comes back.
And did you just call him "BRAIN" Orosco?
That's just mean =p and no changing predictions you cheater!

Watching Sasuke Navi, you may be able to predict how well people have been doing by their reactions.
Levi looks relatively calm, is that because the americans have been passing or because he's incredibly confident?
Nagano looks serious, he's not playing, he doesn't do his battle cry or anything, he just goes.
What could that mean?
Read it how you will... personally I think it means he's not nervous, so maybe a bunch of people have been passing.
That's how I interpret it.
There are a lot of strong competitors this time around, and a lot of them have experience this time (Daisuke Miyazake, Wakky)
By the way, why do people keep saying Wakky is the CURRENT genojin Sportsman no.1 champion? I thought Daisuke Miyazaki won the 2008 competition.

I may be wrong but I thought Wakky won the last tournament.. Ube can help with that. I haven't seen any of them in their entirety.. wait.. only the one in YouTube with Paul ANTHONY Terek.

Wakky is the reigning celebrity Sportsman No. 1 winner. They didn't have one this year, so he'll still the winner.
Daisuke Miyazaki is the PRO Sportsman No. 1 winner.

They have a separate tournament for comedians, or something like that. Wakky won that. They haven't had one since then, so he's still the champion.

He might be perpetual champion since I think they cut that part of the Sportsman #1 series.

I was just watching Navi again, and I examined that promo with Levi in it, and it looks like the Jumping Spider and Flying Chute are identical to 20. I was worried they might tweak them a bit again.

I don't know if you looked hard enough, I think the jumping spider has changed.
The difficult isn't the same, but it seems they cut off some of the excess wood.

The distance and height are the same. That's all that really matters.
