I wonder if he came back. It's amazing. That poor depressed waddle that came after embarassing himself on international television got that guy another shot on the course. He could be the next generation of Octopus/Butterfly/Aoki joke competitors.
Speaking of Aoki, I'm out of his level. Woohoo!

I know he was. That's what I said. His waddle got TBS to invite him back. So I was wondering if they reinvited him to 21 or if 20 was just them seeing if he had some talent or if he really was just this side of pathetic.

(From the Sasuke Demotivators topic). And I remember in 15 there was one old comedian guy who fell in the pit of mud before the first hurdle so you could be wrong.

If I may be childish for a moment:
Why is everyone nitpicking my prediction? All I was saying was that it is damn near impossible to predict a Sasuke tournament and suddenly I feel like I have a bad memory for not remembering every joke and dork who couldn't even get started. And even Mr. Pants got to the first step on that try.
Ok, I'll be adult now.

Because it was kind of ironic that you made a prediction that was supposed to illustrate something that would definitely happen, but yet people have managed to fail before that. And everyone (including me) likes to show off their bizarre nigh-encyclopedic knowledge of Sasuke. Because we're quite sad.

Fair enough. Now that I think about it, I do spend an inordinate amount of time doing mental runs through tournament results and "what ifs."
Psychiatrists would flip over us.

I want to see something funny, someone running and as they go for the step they trip over their own feet and end up doing a dive/faceplant into the water by the first step.

That's just wrong. ;-) I'm looking forward to that, too.

I'll do one just for the All-Stars and whoever else I feel like (this is more of a hopeful prediction, realistically I think the results will be worse): Makoto Nagano - Final Ring Toshihiro Takeda - Shin-Cliffhanger Shingo Yamamoto - Devil Steps Bunpei Shiratori - Salmon Ladder Katsumi Yamada - Warped Wall
Shunsuke Nagasaki - Shin-Cliffhanger Takamasa Nagasaki - Salmon Ladder Yuji Washimi - Descending Globe Grasp Koji Yamada - Shin-Cliffhanger Shinji Kobayashi - Shin-Cliffhanger
Levi Meuewenberg (however the f*** you spell it) - Ascending Climb Brian Orosco - Shin-Cliffhanger Kevin Pereira - Jumping Spider Olivia Munn - Log Grip
Octopus - Pole Maze Yasuo Aoki - 3rd step in Sextuple Steps World's Famous Gut - 5th step

I've seen other names in predictions in this thread and I'm wondering: are people like Nomura, Ishimaru, and Enchi confirmed to be going? I really hope Ishimaru could clear the first stage someday, but with the course as it is now, I don't look for it to happen (I hate to say it).
And is it Lee Yen Chee or Lee Enchi, anyway?

Nomura and Ishimaru are confirmed to be competing.
Lee Enchi (that's how you spell his name, G4 did it the other way) is rumored. I found on a Chinese blog that said he was going, but I haven't found anything else on the subject.

Actually G4 only spelt it Lee Yen Chee for 17 and spelt Enchi right for 18.

I was actually gonna say that, but yeah, that's what happened. That's why I asked the question I asked.
He did good in 17 up until the Metal Spin, so I really hope he tries it again. Unfortunately, he failed the Jumping Spider in 18 so he might run into that problem again if he comes back.
