They also said ARRAY which implies that more than just one per sport. It could be Matsunga and Cejudo, Phelps and Kitajimi, and who knows, maybe even the Hamms(probably not though).

They also said ARRAY which implies that more than just one per sport. Not really. It just implies multiple Olympians. I'm not sure if that's a Google translation or an actual translation, so I don't know if it can be entirely trusted with regards to linguistic particulars anyway...

Interesting they chose 6 this time from Trials. Granted last time I was told 8 was high considering in the past it wasn't that much. I wonder if former winners managed to get in again. Maybe like the guys that did well during the Muscle Park events with the All-Stars, etc. I wonder if Moody or Tomino made it?

Former qualifiers are usually let back in multiple times. Plus TBS were really into the new qualifiers as potential new All-Stars. Maybe we won't see them in the broadcast, but my bet is at least a few of them from 21 will be there.

Yup, I'm actually pretty excited that Levi and Luci are coming back. Levi, as long as his attitude is in check, I think will do fine this time. With Luci, I'm excited because she does have a shot at beating the 1st Stage. If she can make it past the Halfpipe Attack and make it up the Warped Wall in the first few tries, then she has a great shot at clearing the First Stage.

I'm looking forward to Levi's run since I think Levi's "attitude" was probably be a result of over exuberance. He got a little too into it. Since we know that BlackieChan, Seedman, and the other guys all talked to him about it and let him know that certain people were not pleased with him, he'll probably reign it in. He might do a celebration flip or one into the Jumping Spider area, but that will probably be at the extreme edge.
As for Luci, I think everything depends on the Half-Pipe. Should she beat that, I think she can do it. Yuji Washimi is about her height and he can get up the Warped Wall, so she should do it too and then at least make it to the Tarzan Rope.
Haven't seen too much of David, so I am excited to see what he can do. Here's hoping he does well.

Luci (155cm) is actually 11 cm shorter than Yuji Washimi (166cm). The shortest person to clear the Warped Wall in Sasuke 21 was Ryo (STQ) who stands at 161cm. To put a bit more perspective on her situation, I believe people like Akiyama and Jordan (who both have failed the Warped Wall) are at about 162 cm tall. So I would say the Warped Wall is her biggest problem, just because she is short.
O and I forgot to talk about David, I'm excited for his run too. He seems like a true Sasuke fan and it will be interesting to see how his training correlates to the real course.

Ah, didn't think Luci was that short. I thought her and Washimi were both 5 ft even (damn you Wikipedia...........).

I'm not sure why Brian O isn't going, but I can't see how Luci could do better than him.

I'm not sure why Brian O isn't going, but I can't see how Luci could do better than him. Brian is injured and I think it was HIS decision (and not G4's) not to compete in Sasuke 22.

Just like how people before didn't see how she could beat the Log Grip or the Pole Maze.
I think she could beat stage one, at least. If anything gives her trouble, I think it'll be the Salmon Ladder (although I think she can beat it) and the Wall Lift.

well, i personally think that Luci might not beable to get over the warped wall.
BTW, Oti, you get a responce from Monster9?

Just to make it official (if we go by his site): Hiromichi Sato is scheduled to be there.
Naoki Iketani officially said that he'd be there in his blog. Daisuke Nakata hasn't confirmed anything as of yet.

He refers to himself as Pakuten (パクテン) but that's just a nickname. I have no idea what his name is.
