Well they still have the ANW 1 final obstacle I like the ladder. There weren't any fails on the cargo net ever, were there? And only like 1 on the spider? At least people fail the ladder, I like that. And wasn't the cargo net the final of ANW2 also? Actually a few people failed the Spider Climb, in fact I think 2 were in the same region. And yes the Cargo Net was the final obstacle in ANW2, it goes farther back than that though, it was the final obstacle in ANW1 as well. Although ANW4 they did kind of update it and got a brand new net with white ropes, ANW1-3 still used that leftover piece from the 2008 American Gladiators reboot That was Venice in ANW 5 with James Eggiman and James Sclar?

Did they really say Dan got the furthest on the Beam Cross on Heat 5? Im happy that Dan did get to show himself and managed to get to the end of Semis by clearing, but I thought that was Hayley, because Dan tried to dismount somewhat early? Didnt seem like they were making it sound like it was a wildcard.

27 was quite weird with its ordering in the broadcast, constantly switching back a bit with high and low numbers with lots of people being introduced without a number even if clearly visible, but it really still had good fails, and achievements in it.

This show looks awesome. Can't wait to see it! Also, I want there to be a Canadian team in a future season, and, just to screw with ANW, I want Sean McColl on that team Really hope too. That Canada can start to get in all these shows out there with a Canadian version, or atleast represent. Survivor for example. I guess they do kinda have Amazing Race and Big Brother though. Season 3 hope!

The Beam Cross for NW UK standards, with how easy qualifying can be, is pretty brutal for that ep. With only 9 people clearing it, and I bet if it wasnt there, and one from any another ep, there would be way more clears.

I think it was because my brother used to watch G4 on TV. (Got a lot of video games back then). He watched it too. I tried to search ninja warrior on youtube at the time but just got ANW 1 crap which I didnt really like. Eventually just waited for it to air again.

I guess Michael Bernardo since ANW 2, and yes he was in ANW 3 but not shown on the broadcast. Good call! I'll add myself to the list! ;-) Wow. I did not know you were him, lol. Good luck in ANW 9! Should have checked your profile which would have showed your youtube.

I didn't even realize he was even in Season 2, or if I did I forgot. I guess that's one of the reasons we asked who the hell he was Also it wasn't "city qualifying", it was just called Qualifying then The is our official "I'm not trying to sound passive aggressive just being informative" symbol. Im pretty sure when rewatching through ANW 2 before, like a few months ago, I never saw him shown, so he most likely got cut being a random guy at the time failing early. I think he failed the quad steps, atleast according to what sasukepedia says which can be unreliable

1: Makoto Nagano - Made it to the final stage several times, came close every time and achieved Kanzenseiha, being the first person to do so in 13 tournaments. 2: Toshihiro Takeda - While he hasn't done so well recently, he was a very strong competitor a while back. He's also easily likeable. 3: Shingo Yamamoto - Despite not doing very well recently, he keeps coming back and devoting his time to Sasuke. Very likeable as well. 4: Kazuhiko Akiyama - First grand champion, but because of his condition, he didn't do very well afterwards, and stopped competing a while back. 5: Bunpei Shiratori - I would like him more if he had competed more, but he himself also had health issues. 6: Katsumi Yamada - While he was very dedicated to Sasuke, he was too dedicated, and put it above his friends and family, which was not cool. Also, he was a bit of a jerk. That would pretty much be my ranking too
