Not counting the final stage, I'd say 19.

Stage 3 and 4 were the same in both of them.

Stage 3 wasnt totally the same, Sending Climber is tougher than Hang Climbing, and we dont know if theres any difference between final ring and gliding ring. I'd say 19, tougher obstacles stricter time I think the Pole Maze is harder than the Circle Hammer and the Sky Walk is harder than the Swing Ladder.

I think the slider jump and net is way harder than the flying chute. Stricter time was only 5 seconds but, eh okay. Salmon Ladder was lighter in 19 imo easier to ascend. I don't find 22 any harder or easier than 19, I felt it was the hardest one since 19. and who chose 22?

Slider Jump is easy compared to the flying chute, peopel just messed up there since it was new.
At least for ME, the flying chute was opne of the few obstacles I had little chance of passing before hand.
Slider Jump looks much easier in comparison.
Don't give the excuse, nagano lost there, levi lost there. Because Shunsuke and Nagano los tont eh chute to, and so did Wshimi, Kenji Takahashi, Shingo, and Bunpei.
I think Slider Jump is over-rated. probably the 2nd hardest obstacle in stage 1, I'll give it that. but it's not some impossible thing to pass like people seem to be making it out to be.

I think the 22nd doesn't look that challenging, honestly. 19 looked like a monster, though.
Maybe we're all just adjusting to it.
And I disagree. The Slider Jump is much harder to pass because you can't control yourself on the way down. If you turn sideways, you've messed up and there's very little you can do about it. On the Flying Chute, you could slow yourself down, get a good jump, etc..
But yeah, it's not some impossible thing. People just screwed up on it.

Well, i've replicated both, and I had no chance ont he flying chute, I got a huge rope burn.
On my slider jump replica I was able to control. It was slanted like the real one but didn't have drops, maybe those make a huge difference, I don't know. but I have long legs so I could most likely just reach out to the net.

The Slider Jump is harder than this because it's at the end of the stage. It's climbing through the net that's given me second thoughts on how hard the latest stage 1 is. It takes forever to get through it.

uhm... you missed the point Venus. i have long legs, meaning I don't have to use momentum, I can just reach out and grab the net. And I'm not someone who'd get tangeled up in a net very easily, I've always been a fast net rope climber, like the one at the end of stage 1. If anything I'd get through it extremely fast saving some time.
Anyway, like I said, I've tried both obstacles, easier versions of each. My flying chute was MUCH easier than the original version and I still failed it, just because it freaking hurts so much.
Slider Jump just isn't as hard.

What I said might have missed the point. The slider sounds like it's not very hard to you, but that doesn't make it an easy obstacle in general, plus you never have been to japan. Most people are gonna have a harder time with this because they aren't momentum proof and net resistant like you. But congratulations on that anyway. I know I haven't replicated obstacles before, but if I ever did I would make a Jumping spider, a BIG jumping spider.

Yeah... I'm still saying Slider Jump is way harder.
Unless you're 6' 10" or something, you're not reaching the net with your legs.

David said it was about a 5 foot gap, I'm 6 foot, and with my arms extended that's around 2 extra feet.
I'm not saying it's an easy obstacle in general, but for ME it's easier.
It's not that the slider jump is easy, it's that the flying chute is hard.
I thnk they're both dfficult, but after trying to flyng chute I can say for certain I would have a very small chance of beating it, and if I did I'd have a massive rope burn.

Reaching it with your legs would still make for a slow and awkward transition to the net.
I think doing it any way other than the usual way is asking for trouble.

You're right, but I'd expect to hae a lot of time left by the time I get there. I run a lot so stamina isn't an issu efor me like it was for david, and I'm a sprinter so I can easily get from 1 obstacle to the next without wasting any time.
So I'd be saving time by running to the next obstacle, intead of walking or jogging like most people do.

okay i want to throw this out there, the wall lift never increased in weight, always been 30,40,50. If you look @ the sasuke 2 vid it says 30kg 40kg 50kg
Now as for the hardest; 22 by far.
Lets compare 19: steps= 22. Steps 19: log grip> Circle Hammer 19: Pole Maze < 22. Log grip 19. JS> 22. JS 19. HPA < 22. HPA (were including path way in both 19. Warped Wall< 22. Warped wall, with 19 u dont have to climb, u can run up to it, do a tiny hop w. speed and still hvae your speed. 19. Flying Chute < 22. Slider Jump. Honestly, the high profile competitors just made mental errors. look how Koji and Washimi do it. They get up @ the end to jump for the rope then hang on. SIMPLE, just to many mental errors 19. Tarzon Rope= 22. Tarzan Rope 19. Rope Ladder= 22. Rope ladder
19: 2 22: 4 equals: 3

Well yes true, but theyre werent a ton of timeouts at the end of stage 1 (flying chute, rope ladder). The guy who timed out on the rope ladder that we saw in 19, i dont think 5 seconds woulda helped

Blind: Just because it cored more in 2 categories doesn't mean much. The warped wall is BARELY harder than in 19, same with the half pipe attack.
On the other hand, the Jumping spider in 19 is WAAAY harer than the current version.
As for flying chute and slider jump it's a matter of opinion, both have taken out many competitors.
As for the mental mistake you can use the same argument about the slider jump.
Also, youhave to remember in 19 the flying chute was a harder version witht he rope much further back, it's not the same version from 20 and 21, it's a tougher version. And that version, IMO, is harder than the slider jump.

However, after succesesful attempts on the flying chute in 19, the high profile competitors didnt adjust.

The slider jump has only been in 1 tournament. Don't expect so many people to fail there next time. As you said, they didn't know how to do it so that's why they failed.

I'mma build me a damn Slider Jump and Flying Chute and you're all coming to my house and we're gonna settle this crap. Oh, we don't have water here in Mississippi, so I'll have to use spikes. Flaming spikes. With sharks in them. Sharks that stand on their back fins, say "Ayyyy..." and shoot lasers from their eyes. Good luck!
