After returning for two episodes on Saturdays (for a total of four episodes aired), the show has been pulled from the schedule again.

No word on what they plan on doing with the remaining episodes. My guess is they'll dump it on their streaming service CBS All Access because reruns of their other shows seem to pull consistently solid ratings at any time slot.

It just shows how bad Million Dollar Mile is. Repeats tend to do better in that timeslot than a new show. The premise was interesting. The execution was not good. I tend to give shows a chance and I even gave up on it after 2 episodes.

The show returns tonight to air the remaining episodes on Saturdays, assuming it doesn't get pulled again.

There were a couple highlights from the finale. Defender Rebecca Hammond (The Harvard Hammer) successfully defended against two contestants back-to-back, which was pretty cool, but this also highlights how OP the Defenders are compared to many of the contestants and how they would otherwise be the ones winning the show. The entire last half hour was for the final challenger of the night (and series), Slater Trout (Stand Up Paddle racer and surfer). He ran against Robert Killian (Green Beret and 2015 Spartan Race World Champion). Slater was about 30 seconds ahead on the fourth obstacle. He became the second runner this season to attempt a fifth obstacle. He chose to do Deep Water Solo (water + climbing wall) last because a lot of runners gassed out earlier on this. He had about a ten second lead, and started going up the climbing wall just as Robert was diving into the water. He won $250,000. This also cleared up something I wasn't entirely sure about when it came to the million dollar challenge at the end. I wasn't sure if they would go straight into it, or if it would be its own separate climb off. Turns out they have a second button set up, and you can choose to hit it to immediately begin climbing, or hit the regular button to end the run with $250k. Slater posted his run on Instagram... https://www.instagram.com/p/B0we9BpAIjB
