I've seen pics and it looks like the Israel version. It has the obstacles of the first 3 series of NWUK but with the studio design of France. I reckon it'll just be yet another copycat European spin-off but I hope it proves me wrong.

I'm most curious about Romania because the production time seems very short compared to the other spinoffs, but maybe it was very far into pre-production when it was announced.

The first season finished airing yesterday. They used the Ninja Warrior Germany format. There were five qualifying heats where the top 20 of 45 moved on to the qualifying final and the top 10 there moved on to the semi-final. There was a single semi-final where the top 25 competitors moved on to the finals. One of the things I liked about this show is that no one who advanced to the next round ever had their run cut from the broadcast and everyone who had their qualifying run shown had all their subsequent runs shown. I really have no complaints about this spin-off. Everything went smoothly. Rules seemed fair. Course difficulty matched competitors well. At the same time, nothing really stood out as memorable to me, but I think the same would be said about quite a few other spin-offs if they didn't have problems. {Finals Results}5 out of the 25 finalists completed Stage 1 and no one reached the second part of Stage 2. Three competitors made it to the Unstable Bridge. Emanuel Gavriluț, a 21 year old former performing gymnast, and Marius Crăciun, a 23 year old judo practitioner, both failed the transition from the Salmon Ladder. George Mariș, a 29 year old freelancer, failed the transition to the second bridge becoming the last man standing.
