I'll be the first to admit that ANW spoilers around here are treated a little more lax than the Japanese shows. Partially because they're more accessible and we don't want to be the place that completely restricts spoilers because we wouldn't have much to talk about waiting for things to air. So yes, ANW spoilers are shared often here but there is a matter of self-control you have to show when sharing them. Not everyone wants the same spoilers you do. And while there's often cross-referencing between regions and Vegas, there's referencing Vegas before we get there on TV and implying how the end of the season went down in a regional thread. It's not just about covering up the spoilers (which we also have to remind people to do but that's something that's never going to go away completely) -- it's about where you post them as well. It's kind of why certain members aren't as active anymore; it's clear people are not being responsible with what or how they're sharing and it can affect quality of life on the forum.
Spoilers are a privilege and not one everyone partakes in. All I ask is that those with spoilers, whether accurate or not, be a little more responsible. We've not necessarily had an issue like with last year, but a lot of smaller incidents that are completely preventable have been happening. As a user, review the rules. Ask the staff if you're unsure whether something is appropriate to post (even if I can't get to you right away, I do my best to eventually answer back). The amount of time you've been a member will only grant you so much leniency. The platform you use to visit and participate on SMF (mobile, desktop, laptop, tablet, etc) will not grant you any. If this means we have to discuss a complete overhaul of spoilers and be more strict, then that will eventually happen. But I think people here are capable enough to clean the way they do things up. But if we're forced to, we will scrub it clean completely and start over.
