Looks like it was worth doing!
That's a decent sum, just under £7000 apparently.

Skip to around 14:30 for the SASUKE part. Let's just say that the first question is easy.
How this game works (roughly with my understanding). To win the 1 Million Yen, they need to answer 5 questions.
Two questions are classified in Class A and B respectively, with blue and orange denoting the color. The final questions in Class C denoted in red. Answer three questions incorrectly during the process it's game over.
The difficulty goes up from A to C which means Class C is the toughest questions.

Who's the host asking the questions? I feel like I've seen her on other tv shows before

I have no idea how the layout of this game show is, but I wouldn't be surprised if Yamada does better on it (relatively speaking) than he has on Sasuke over the past 15 or so years. In other words, if he can answer at least a few questions correctly, get past the first round, etc., that's probably a good run for him. I also believe In Viking 3 he failed a simple addition question

You're thinking of Nagano. In his 5 appearances on VIKING, Yamada never failed Parley. Viking lasted 3 Tournaments I had rushed typing that and accidentally put Nagano in the second sentence. Nagano failed Parley in VIKING 3 Yamada computed 5 times but never failed Parley There were actually 9 Televised Specials of VIKING There were 3 Individual VIKING Tournaments There were 3 "Pair" VIKING Events with teams of 2, Yamada competed in all 3 There was a Celebrity VIKING Tournament And finally there was a 2 part special called "Family Muscle" where teams of 3+ completed Anyone willing to translate said section? I was actually pretty curious about the questions and considering getting it subbed, since it's pretty short
