Figured I might as well make a new thread considering we now know that UBM is evidently also under the SMF law of wrestling... Replacing Chris DeStefano is... And the new host in the United Kingdom is... We’re also discussing this in the discord, needless to say we’re all intrigued and excited about what the two of them could bring...but it’s also hilarious that 2 ex-WWE wrestlers are now commentating this

Punk was always good on commentary so I think he will be good. A little surprised they stuck with Tiki because he was just so vanilla and boring at times.

LOL on the SMF rule.. btw we already know this was taped but it's going with the notion that Dave Broome wants a couple a year and with announcement of the one already taped getting a later 2018 airing that they will actually move to make more. Curious about that.

Excited for UBM 3. Hopefully the same course stops. I hope the episodes are the same length as Season 1 (I felt like Season 2 was too long). Wonder if CM Punk is actually a good replacement for Chris. Excited to see 9 countries. I bet UBM 3 will be better than Season 1 and 2.

CM Punk was on MTV's Challenge and did a great job with snarky one liners.
And a sentient potato would be better than Chris.

Know what would be hilarious about CM Punk on commentary for Ultimate Beastmaster? If he's secretly an ANW fan and just in the middle of commentary is told to shoot on ATS and call out The ANW Experience and Wingnut Alley and s*** like that lol
(For context to the non-wrestling fan's that's a reference to one of his most famous promos and might be one of the most famous promos in years for wrestling in general)

That's a sick subtitle! Also can't wait for the return of SK's commentators! They were absolute hilarious in season 1

While I'd personally love more course variety, especially going into the Finals, the increased number of teams will probably scratch my "variety" itch for this Season. Still something I feel the show needs to do moving forward though.

Are they reducing the number of competitors this season? If they used the same number per episode as last year not all teams will have the same number of representatives which wouldn't really be fair.

Yeah I'm curious how that's going to work out. This is the first competition AFTER Season 1 aired so any changes to the format were as a direct result of feedback from watchers of the first season.

Better hosts (IMO), a lot more small obstacle changes and just a better overall vibe. No one else seems to think so though, so I'm the crazy one. Any idea when Netflix rolls-out new stuff? I still don't have a trailer :/.

Found it!: twitter.com/hashtag/ultimatebeastmaster?src=hashAs last time, the trailer does look promising. I'm afraid though that these twists will be seen every dang week until they're no longer twists at all. I really hope I'm wrong, and I could be wrong seeing as some of the obstacles' apparatuses do appear similar (the gear picture they released a couple of weeks ago and that obstacle at the end of the trailer with the dropping grips, for example), but I'm not sure they're the same. Still, I'm hoping for changes every week. At least it appears that the split-path in Level One is still there for a bit more variety.
