Get rid of the Shingo Killer?! Blasphemer! Singo always passes the Halfpipe Attack. He always fails the path after he beats it. 20. 22. you get the point. Which is still part of the Halfpipe Attack... And like obakemono said, he biffed the landing entirely in 20, didn't drop in the right location.

The path leading away from the Halfpipe Attack that Shingo always falls on is not part of the Halfpipe Attack.
It's just a path.
Just thought I'd point that out.

There is NO part in the course that you come in contact with that is "not part of the obstacles".. if you did.. you'd be course out. So it has to be attached to something or it would not be there. That plank is part of the Half Pipe Attack (or at the very least part of the Warped Wall) and placed very specifically in that position so that no one can run up to the wall like Takeda was famously doing in the past.
Similar to the plank being the run up and around from last year it's still part of the obstacle. The only difference is that the connection from the Half Pipe and the warped wall is a red colored plank. It still belongs to the Half Pipe Attack.

Meh. I think the Chute part of the Flying Chute sucked.
But when they were hanging there trying to swing onto the net, I always thought that was exciting.
As for which one is difficult, I'd say the Slider Jump, only because you don't have to 1. Swing back the way you came and 2. Aim for 1 rope, now you have a whole net to grab.

I think you could shave 10 or 15 seconds off the time limit by having the Slider Jump go directly to the Rope Ladder. Of course you'd have to make some changes, it'd be too dangerous normally. I suppose you could have the usual Jump Hang net that curves away, and just extend it at the top up to the button.

Slider jump - the Chute got boring by sasuke 20 in all honesty! 1st stage results for Sasuke 19 and 20 were so horrible that they never brought in any new obstacles.

Guess I'm in the minority here but I prefer the Flying Chute. Don't know why they got rid of it. It takes more skill and strategy to pass the FC whereas you just have to grab the net when you fling from the bar. Less exciting? No way- remember Iketani and the other guy do a 360? You just posted the reason in your post-they got rid of it because it was too dangerous.

I like the Slider Jump better, it's more exciting, looks more fun, and it's not complete down time while you're waiting for them to get to the end. oh ok

Flying chute is better than slider jump. because slider jump looks like easily. and flying chute to be one of the most dangerous and hardest obstacles ever
